Looking at the great price for Dark Shadows: Kingdom of the Dead.
But the site is adding a "per order charge" of US $8.61 on top of the cost and the shipping. I've never seen them do that before. They've been doing it for over a year

Hate to say it's also why I stopped ordering physical media from them; the extra charges add up too fast.

Given that this thread and the one for Out of Print item are in the same section of the forum, please don't duplicate information in both of them. Thanks! Sorry about that, won't happen again

It's why last time there was a clearance sale I didn't buy anything- the postage ended up costing more than the products I wanted.

In this instance I went ahead with the purchase because I was getting more than one item, and because the total (with postage, fees, and sale prices) came to less that the regular cost of the box set in the order.

Went for Graceless 1-4 + Treasure Island + Frankenstein + The Martian Chronicles. Potentially interested in Vienna but the CD of The Memory Box sold out before I had a chance...

I made a calculation like that on the last warehouse sale and one of the items became unavailable before it could be delivered to me (website wasn't updated to say it was out of stock when I ordered), so my supposed savings didn't work out at all.

What are the top 3 DOTD stories? In my opinion, the stories for Doctors Two, Six, and a tie between Eight and Nine.

How bad is The Ultimate Adventure? For 99 cents on download, I might chance it.

The sad thing is that I deal with UK companies which are smaller than BF who are able to offer better postage fees and don't have a per-order charge. I would truly love to know who is responsible for the clearly horrible deal they have (with DHL I seem to recall) and ask them why when other small companies are able to get reasonable shipping rates they are unable to do so.

All of the stage plays will have you wanting to jam pencils into your ears so that you never have to hear such horrible material again. I'd be curious to see them performed on stage, but I fear I'd only end up gouging out my eyes.

I'd sooner re-listen to Pirates - and I have been quite happy to say how low I rank that release.

I was going to order the trio of stage plays for a physical copy, but see the Ultimate Adventure is OOP. I got them as a surprise bonus via Humble Bundle ages ago. Having listened to some of the Seven Keys to Doomsday, I can say politely that they capture very well the 'you had to be there' vibe of so many stage productions. Minus the visuals. I have the first six Destiny releases on CD (charity shop bundle find for a fiver) so may go for the remaining ones, despite having a £10 download bundle from way back preceding the charity shop find. Not having listened to them yet, I do wonder if I am just buying for the sake of it though. It all adds up to the price of a guaranteed MR listen if comparing the cost of a decent single story release, such as Aquatine, Peterloo Massacre or Time in Office which are still to get. Quality over Quantity...
