I hate that they haven't released the DVDs in Region 1.
I had planned to purchase the Region 2 DVDs and rewatch the entire series, but the "new" PAL DVD player I bought died while watching the extras to Season 1. Reading the reviews of region-free or multi-region players I'm convinced that it is impossible to buy a good region 2 player in the US.
At least I was able to rewatch season 1 before the player died.

Don’t you wish they would just get rid of regions Oh yes. I’ve got some differently regioned DVDs but only have so many times I can switch regions on my laptop settings. It might be something to do with different copyright laws between regions. Some of the Classic Who DVDs had different regions where music on the documentary because of copyright laws around use of the music. Another thing with the Classic Who DVDs is that some of the box sets were released as individual stories in the US.

I watched Terminal last night. I agree with you folks. This show makes THE BEST series ending cliffhangers. That was another fantastic episode. And I think the fact the Servalan was able to outwit Avon so easily will not sit well with him. Although his smile at the very end of the show was fantastic.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

I liked big finish additions to The canon at least we knew she knew where to go on the Liberator when I watched Terminal again it made sense. In Terminal she strode on deck as if she had been there a million times. But as I said Blake’s Seven was the King Of Cliffhanger endings

But as I said Blake’s Seven was the King Of Cliffhanger endings What an ending for the Liberator too, I always get a little tug in my chest whenever I watch it. It's given the same weight as if they were axing off a member of the main cast, which I suppose in a way, they were. She was a good ship, seeing her fall apart in such a slow, degrading fashion through disintegration is just heartbreaking. Zen's never sounded more alive then when he's talking with Villa in that pseudo-delirium. It's come a long way from nearly killing its crew on sight to diverting the last vestiges of its energies to ensuring they get away. Wait... Did Blake's 7 do character development for its ship? Oh. Huh. That's really cool.

Don’t you wish they would just get rid of regions Regions are really outdated and don't accomplish anything other than encouraging people to find workarounds for watching stuff that's in the "wrong" region. It's really a concept whose time has passed. Long passed.

It's really a concept whose time has passed. Long passed. It's especially annoying with streaming services, which encourages not quite legal efforts to access the same material. Netflix for example, where some shows and movies are available in some countries, but unavailable in others. If more material was available everywhere Netflix would see more people using the service. Hulu requires a US ISP, or a VPN and prevents people not in America from streaming shows on Hulu.

Just wait until the end of Season 4/D. Ahhhhhhhh! I finished it last night. Ahhhhhhhh! I was in SHOCK at the end of that one. Just frozen on my couch, unable to move. I'm still digesting it all. Now THAT'S how you end a series. Damn! I'm going to watch these all again, but now it'll be different. Everything has changed. Ahhhhhhh!

Yeah, not an end, but an End.
I had been slightly spoiled as to the ending of TV B7, not in details but I knew something bad was coming, and I kind of wish I hadn't been so I could have had a similar experience to what you did.

It was really tough keeping a lid on that since late August, but the reaction's been worth it. What'd you think of Series D coming after... well, everything that occurred in Terminal?

I did a rewatch a couple of years back and that ending made perfect sense, especially after events in the back half of Series D when everything starts to spiral downwards. Shocking but beautifully done.
