I've met Doctors Pertwee (this was in 1996), Davison, Colin and McCoy, and they were all very nice. Jon's permanent marker ran out when he was signing a photograph for me and I stood there not being able to think of a word to say. I think that's the only time that's happened to me. I think of them all, Peter Davison is the most naturally friendly.

Went to Memorabilia one year where Tom Baker, Liz Salden and Paul McGann were the advertised guests;
So I meet Paul (strangely enough seated with Nicola Bryant who hadn't been advertised) and then joined the quae with my Dad for Tom and Liz who were charming. As I was leaving I noticed the table next to them was in darkness but I peered closer and saw Peter Davison sitting there. He gave a wry smile and said something like "I'm always in Tom's shadow", So in the space of 20 minutes I'm 3 Doctors 2 companions up then my Mum calls "Hey I've got Mr Baker for you" and I look to see her dragging a slightly bemused Colin over to me. (neither Peter or Colin were advertised guests).
Ok then I throw in my surreal one:
I'm waiting to use the Disabled convenience at the ExCel 50th Anniversery Con and a small blond lady with huge dark glasses asked me how I was enjoying the day and sorry for the wait and her friend would be out in a minute and I thought "I know your voice from somewhere", Anyway her friend comes out, I clock a walking stick, so his legit for using it, and its only "Uncle" Terrence Dicks, so it clicks who the blond lady must've been. No surprise then that the delightful Katy Manning remembered the incident when we met 2 years later at a BF Day. That occasion ended with her practically jumping on Michael Jayston and Scott Handcock to say hello to them.

I think my favourite meeting with a Who actor was Paul McGann. He's not only my favourite Doctor, but also incredibly lovely and really takes an interest in having a conversation with his fans.

Have met Doctors 5,6,7,8 twice each. and 11 once.
River Song, Amy Pond, Rory Williams actors', (and so many classic era I am going to have to go through my photos to remember them all).
Funniest meeting was with Frazer Hines.. He was in my hometown for a real small convention - there was about 30 of us- he was awesome took the time to personally walk around and chat with everyone. At 1 point I mentioned to my friend who i went with "Do you know where the men's room is?" Frazer overheard and came over to us and said "I need to go to, come follow me".
Dead silence from everyone around us as they watched me follow him to the mens room. Obviously nothing was said once we entered, that's a sacred space- no fanboy carrying on etc etc. LOLZ
To this day my friend still finds it hilarious that happened LOLZ

For a while, we were having two cons a year locally, and they have pretty good guests, so I've gotten to met quite a few Doctor Who actors.
Colin Baker was the first Doctor I met. I walked up to him and the first thing he said was, "You have hair like mine!" And when he saw my Blake's 7 t-shirt, he showed me a photo he had of himself playing the villain Bayban the Butcher in a Blake's 7 episode. I met Dan Starkey at the same con. He and Colin were both delightful to speak with.
I loved meeting Paul McGann, cause he's one of my favorites. He was the second Doctor I met. I got to chat with him quite a few times over the course of the weekend he was at a local con. Marina Sirtis - Deanna Troi from Star Trek The Next Generation - was at that con. I was wearing a Doctor Who shirt when I met her and Marina looked at my shirt and asked me who my favorite Doctor is. I said, "He's sitting right over there." (Paul McGann) She said, "Really??" I also met Simon Fisher-Becker at that con.
I met Peter Davison, Jenna Coleman, and Billie Piper at another con. Davison was kind of quiet, as was Jenna. I remember Billie the most from that con.
When I met Alex Kingston, she was sure she had met me before (she hadn't). That was the con where I also met Lisa Bowerman and David Warner. They were all fun to meet.
The following year, I met Peter Capaldi. There was a huge crowd to see him, so I only got to speak to him briefly.
And this summer I met John Barrowman. He was a riot.

This is going to be one of those "I like reading other people's experiences but I'm jealous because I've never even come close to meeting any of these people before" type of threads Great stories by the way!

Yes I am envious, especially of those who met Jon Pertwee!
For about ten years in the 1990s, fate had this bizarre habit of handing me random sightings of British actors at airport baggage carousels, but sadly, no Doctors among them. I've never (so far as I know) seen any actor 'live' anywhere else except on stage, but it got to the point that when I was getting my bag, I was also wondering who it would be this time.
Sadly, it's not the sort of place one can rush up to X and tell them how wonderful their performance in Y was, not after a flight and while pulling a suitcase off the conveyor.
There were two or three 'sightings' from TV series I didn't watch and I only vaguely recognised (and I've forgotten their names now) but I clearly remember Tim Brooke-Taylor (I was a big 'Goodies' fan too, it took a lot of self-restraint not to go across and tell him how brilliant they were!), Frank Thornton (British comedy icon Captain Peacock, among many other roles) and (wow!) Bob Hoskins.
