I've owned a few copies over the years. As I think I've said here before what I do with my VNAs and VMAs is constantly upgrade when I find a better condition one affordably, so I've moved from some dog-eared and yellowed copies to a pretty pristine collection though it's been 20-odd years to do it. I find Dying Days tends to be rarer than Lungbarrow - and So Vile A Sin in that league too. The binding on the BBC books ranges, the 8DAs and the PDAs, is much better - my copies from the late 90s and early 2000s are still fine.
Sometimes you'll get chancers that try and charge big money for other VNAs worth pennies. Just because Lungbarrow goes for 60 quid doesn't mean Sky Pirates or Blood Harvest do, but you'll see the odd person trying to get that kind of money and cons and book fairs.

Yeah you'll also see people try to charge high prices if you're on Amazon in the United States. Also keep eyes peeled: I've found rare who books like Cold Fusion and The Also People in the $20-$30 range so it isn't impossible

Price inflation on out of print books is worldwide, in my experience.

Adding that I’ve gotten both The Dying Days and Cold Fusion at prices I was willing to pay, but have yet to find Lungbarrow at a price I’d be willing to pay.

Book grading, like phonograph record rating, is terribly subjective. Sellers should adhere to a known standard. I know many record sellers do, but I've never looked into if there is such for printed material.
I've bought a lot of used books over the years, but very few of them online. Almost all of them were from used bookstores, indoor flea markets and such places, where I had the item in my hand when I went up to the counter to pay.
