As we are doing Desert Island discs (etc) how about 5 BF covers that you love.
My phone won't let me cut and paste pictures so if any kind soul want's to do mine that would be great.

Hmmm... difficult. I really like the covers for the 8th Doctor box sets, Dark Eyes, Doom Coalition and Ravenous. Hard to pick any favorites but I have the cover for "Eye of Darkness" as background for my phone... And I really like the cover for "Time in Office".

Five favourites overall would be very hard to choose, but I've chosen five favourites from the recent golden period of MR covers, and an artist.
The MR covers of the last few years are generally outstanding for their richness of detail and colour, and of those Simon Holub's stand out the most for me. I don't want to sound all art-crtic-y (when I can't draw a straight line, let alone a picture! ) but I think it's his use of contrast, light and shadow that does it for me.
His artwork has a virtually 3D quality and the light-beams and energy discharges seem to actually shine. I wish we could buy posters.

Ditto to Simon Holub. He's got a really nice sense of composition and contrast and I've got a soft spot for covers that try to partially reenact scenes from the stories they're based on: Alex Mallinson's picture-in-a-figure for the first run of Lost Stories always catches my eye, particularly the retreaux flip cover that removes the sidebar and puts it front-and-centre: Lee Binding's cover for Panacea is what made me look at Gallifrey in the first place: And Clayton Hickman's Gallifreyan oriflammes (and flames) with the Daleks on one side, Romana on the other and the Doctor in the middle (I'd love to see an update of this one in a similar style to Holub's covers):

This is what brings me to the question- why is it that Big Finish is not selling the artworks? As posters, printed on T-shirts and so on? That would be a goldmine.
I know we get the art with the downloads and could have it printed ourselves...
Only thing I can think if is copyrights or similar. What a shame.

I do not have much space, but I would make space for some of these amazing artworks. My place honestly cannot get any more geekier.
