Listening to FairyTale of Salzburg at 7am in the morning with a gorgeous red sky blazing on my ipad speakers...while lying in my friends swimming pool in Malta...now that is THE way to enjoy audio đ Sure the red glare isn't coming from the abode of the Krampus? Better watch out...

Better watch out... Itâs the Sea Devils vacationing at the bottom of the pool am worried about.Poor Misunderstood Creatures. Couple of Haemavores doon the other end.And an Inflatable Myrka actually is so shoddy looking it could be a REAL oneđ

Totally made my day- Member Shallacatop sent me over some of the Big Finish Action Figures. Totally made my day. Yes, the figures are great. I am very happy to be part of such a great community where we can share our nerdyness across borders and language barriers. This is absolutely wonderful. And my little nerdy corner (some less accommodating people call it a "shrine" ) is really looking awesome now.
I think the figures found a nice new home, even if the Doctor might feel a bit uncomfortable with the pesky Angel.
And yes, I am a bit different (what same less accommodating people might call "crazy").
OH MAN I Love others obsessions lol. Still think Dark eyes 1 looks a bit LONELY-I find you no more crazy that the usual people in fact very sane comes to mind.I live in an attic nothing can have a prominent display. But Anyone coming to my house knows am Sci Fi Geek and a Who Fan since 1966 lol in my cradle. My Who Videos are behind my front Door-in racks as i always know where to find them.MY audios are under the living room window-behind the sofa under the telly in the living room,in the kitchen ,in the hall way.MY target novels are in the crawl space beside the telly as are MY Albums and My Dr who Comics are now at my nephews as are every Who figure i bought as lets be honest theres not a lot of room in a 4 metre by 5 meter attic living room lol. And I think you may have seen all my non WHO blu rays and DVDS are providing much needed insulation properties. Its true I love others Nerdiness too.

'Water found on 'mind-blowing' world'
A welcome reminder there is intelligent life on Earth anyway. Barely 20 years from the first discovery of other star systems to the discovery of water in the atmosphere of a 'habitable zone' world; exciting science! Will I live to hear 'the big one' in this line of research? I do hope so!

And you have not even seen my shelves with the Warhammer armies (I need to do some more serious painting on those...) and my book/ comic/ other DVD shelves... My family is convinced I am off with the fairies.
And putting a sticker of the Seal of Rassilon on my car was another head-shaker for mum and dad...
Your room sounds VERY much like the tiny room I had in NZ. Judging my the amount of stuff I could fit into there, you could have believed it was bigger on the inside...

Oi, I got them all on download and I LOVE them. I love the deeper, darker and complicated and I love the McQueen Master. All this is right up my alley and exactly the reason I love the 8th Doctor run from BF so much.
I only got the physical copy because this was the one that started the whole addiction, I wanted to display one and this one was only 20 Euro on Amazon.

Really looking forward to the next 4 days- I am going on a professional training course organized by a friend of mine. It is about one of my favorite professional topics and at a great location and it will be great to learn new things, meet like-minded people and being away from work for a while. At least I think it will be great.

Today and yesterday I've ushered 'The Mikado' & 'The Pirates Of Penzance' at the theatre I volunteer at, and enjoyed them both ('Penzance' more so, even if it's the third time I've seen it). Some 'front of house' issues aside, I had a pretty good time, especially bumping into a former volunteer (/sort-of-a- friend) which was nice

Thereâs a horror movie called Alien? Thatâs really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Back at work after two weeks off and will be taken out of the classroom for a day a week for "higher duties" (suspect it might mostly be things the principal and deputy don't want to do but it's a couple dollars a day extra). Had to check my pay sheet for leave reasons (sick, not Brexit) and discovered that the âhigher dutiesâ are actually a temporary promotion to Deputy Principal for a day a week for the rest of the year.

Made my day yesterday:
Listening to the presenter on radio 4's PM trying to explain Sharpiegate but having difficulty doing so because he kept laughing at the ridiculousness of it and then apologising for laughing, then laughing some more. Made me laugh as well. It was around 5.40pm-ish if you get the chance to listen to it yourself on BBC iPlayer

Only two years after the first one ever known, astronomers think they have discovered the second interstellar comet coming through the Solar System from 'outside'.
(I'm not really surprised - the Ramans do everything in threes...)
Seriously though, how cool is this? The chance for science to observe a fragment of another solar system at (relatively) close range.
