Yeah, but all that was wiped from people's memories, as established in Victory of the Daleks when Amy doesn't remember them (unless, of course, the argument is that only she has forgotten due to her proximity to the crack in time, but that's not the impression I always took away from it - and even then, you can just assume that it did affect everyone, and there's the problem resolved). Sure, I suppose it was an issue at the time, but there's been a (slightly wonky) retcon fix for it.

Sorry, late to the party. What are we talking about? It doesn't matter if you're late, the important thing is knowing when to leave

Not fitting it in to continuity is even more fun! Then it bursts out of the newly laid porch, grows legs and falls off a cliff

Then it bursts out of the newly laid porch, grows legs and falls off a cliff Odd to think that Howl's Moving Castle wouldn't be out until seven or eight years later, but there it is. It's one of the things I really love about Marc Platt stories, they have a Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli sort of vibe to them. From vengeful Houses to roosting Stormcrows carrying parasitic No-Things beneath their wings. He's never lost that over the years either, if anything it's grown with each story. Origami warriors propelled by living thought... Cyber-hunters... Werewolves... It's quite the retinue.
