It's not new episodes, but Kaleidoscope have just announced that a haul of 1960 audio recordings of DW have been found, including some continuity announcements and whatnot not previously held.

This is truly great news. I dream of the day we have a complete audio collection of black and white stories. Perhaps this might yet happen.

We do already what makes this find different apparently is that they sound better then pervious ones were when they 1st recorded(and only found last month it seems)

Thanks for that last link. I thought that most of the audio archives were supposed to be pretty darn good already thanks to the Graham Strong tapes, so I was kind of surprised that this was "news". But as someone who knows reel-to-reel fairly well, plus as one who does a bit of sound design work, having Ayers comments was great to read. I can imagine doing exactly the same kind of mix and match assembly from various sources that he describes. Now, I am surprised to get "quality" from reel to reel at 1.875 inches per second. Yes, I know cassette tape runs that, but hell my father's (now my) 1970-vintage Panasonic RTR deck never delivered very good at that speed.
