Didn't want to create a thread just for this question, but since there wasn't one that would fit, I'm creating it myself. This is a thread to ask/make suggestions regarding the casting of characters from the non-performed EU, such as books, comics, audiobooks with new companions, toys?, etc.
I'll start with Josie Days, from the Titan Eighth Doctor series. Who would you cast to play this role? I have just finished watching Sex Education on Netflix, and, although I'm not sure, maybe Emma Mackey could do this character justice? Idk, what are your thoughts?

Occasionally actors slip into my head while I'm reading the DW novels. The most notable being Dominic West (The Wire's McNulty) playing Dekker in Blood Harvest. Capone was, of course, De Niro.

Willow-Tombstone era Val Kilmer as Absolom Daak. I could see it. But were BF to cast Abslom Daak, can you think of anyone who would fit his image/voice?

I normally would not suggest an american but Danielle Panabaker would be perfect as Josie Day especially if they brought her debut atory back into focus.
Sam is the other person I would really love to hear storiez with. Maybe the lady who played Ginny Weasely?
I think Nicola Bryant would be great for it(with her natural accent) but other than a audiobook I would rather have more Peri.
Sam's casting is the hard one for me because I feel it needs to be somone super young or that can play super young.

I've just remembered that I really liked the idea of Charlotte Beaumont (Chloe Latimer in Broadchurch) as Josie. Still think she'd be perfect. Gave it a bit of thought and I've actually got quite a few, from memory...
A bit obscure, but Muldwych from Birthright always struck me as being played by Leo McKern (circa The Prisoner or Space: 1999).
For the longest time, Jeremy Brett was who I saw for Sherlock Holmes in All-Consuming Fire.
Nigel Fairs from his days as Truman Crouch with the AV!Doctor popped in to play Chris Cwej from time-to-time.
Frobisher is sounding more and more like Ed Bishop each day. I'm not entirely sure why...
Patrick McGoohan was Prisoner le 6 in The Man in the Velvet Mask (right down to the sharp vibrato), but also another character on the re-read who I won't spoil here.
Carole Ann Ford tended to be the voice of the Rutan gestalt when it appeared (her appearance in Shakedown stuck).
And David Collings played Destrii's janus-faced uncle Jodafra.
