As much as I love Frazer Hines's loving take on Patrick Troughton for the Companion Chronicles....man, what I wouldn't give to have a Second Doctor range featuring Troughton himself, alongside Frazer and Wendy.

Ditto Pertwee - it's a real shame that Big Finish was just a few years too late to get him, as it's guaranteed he'd have been there right from the start.

Oh, in a different world, we could've gotten Roger and Jon together. The kinds of character plays that could've been done with the two of them... The opportunities would've been enormous, we might've even seen him with differing Doctors.
Jacqueline Hill is a big one for me, particularly in light of the Early and the First Doctor Adventures. Her and William Russell together would've been an astonishing thing. Getting Michael Wisher onboard would've been an astonishing boon as well. I'd have liked to see him continue his oeuvre of secondary characters from television. Valentine Dyall, likewise, would've been fantastic for his distinctive voice.
Maaaaybe Peter Cushing? If BF scored lucky?

I think most of this about goes without saying, but it's very sad there didn't get to be at least one season of 4DAs with Sarah Jane since it would seem to be among the more possible, and would have made a fantastic addition to the range. Likewise with more of Romana I, if only there had been another season or two.
Pertwee being a near miss for Big Finish, it would of course been wonderful to have Third Doctor and Sarah Jane audios. I don't quite know if it could have been worked out satisfactorily with continuity concerns, but a pairing of the Third Doctor with Evelyn Smythe seems like it could have had great possibilities. This only occurred to me recently somehow, but I do like to think that Pertwee and Stables could have, and probably would have, had fantastic fun and chemistry together.
Also sad, I think, some of the things that could have happened with The Brigadier or Prof. Litefoot since those these are probably among things that actually could have been. It would have been nice for example if Jago and Litefoot could have invaded the Monthly Range to promote their own excellent range, Auntie Iris does :-)

This thread makes me sad, but also grateful and so appreciative for the work that all these wonderful actors and actresses have left behind for everyone to enjoy. They will never be forgotten, and they live on in the hearts of us Who fans.
