I know that this is rather the point but it's really strange hearing such a 'normal' Davros. Hope we at least get some more of his trademark ranting when the status quo is ultimately restored.

So with recent Twitter discussion/teases on future Time War releases, thought this thread might be worth a revival.
With the quantity of Time War releases seemingly having died down a bit lately (though we still have three War Doctor Begins and two War Master volumes to come), it seems a good point to reflect; what more, if anything, would we like Big Finish to do with the Time War?

I am getting a bit tired of it, myself. I have not even finished the first new War Doctor set yet, I am afraid, it just did not grab me storywise. What I really want to see? Get Dan Abnett write some hard core stories in the setting. I does not need to be featuring the Doctor or the Master. Some lost desperate Squad behind enemy lines. He does it soooooo well. I have been a fan of Gaunts Ghosts for 20 years now. If anyone can shake this tired setting up, Dan can.

I say it and i have been consistent its just going nowhereâs ville. I am though interested in The McGann resolution. What ranges have we ? McGanns/The War Master/Gallifrey and The War Doctor-i. Initially went with TUIGIRLS suggestion of all the sets culminating in one final story on one box set tying up all the strands but it never materialised .I was initially dreading Dalek Universe in case it became more of the same...thankfully it didnât.

Not something Iâm really aching for but considering how the latter half of McGannâs Time War series addressed it and the popularity of said concept right now it honestly wouldnât surprise me if they did more with the Multiverse when it comes to the Time War. I.E. The conflict spilling over into other alternate universes.

I can see your idea the McGann set added a lot of needed drama but even if we go multiverse its still a story i feel has dried up.I could be wrong and am willing to be proved so.I would like to spend money elsewhere but am kind of done spending money on things am not particularly enthusiastic about anymore...and am wanting to take early retiral so i am hoping they wrap it all up soon đ

I guess I may be in the minority here, but I think the Time War--with few exceptions--has produced some remarkably and consistently good stories. I wouldn't mind seeing the Gallifrey range moving beyond the Time War, but I absolutely want to see the 8th Doctor Time War range keep going--at least long enough to see how the 8th Doctor approaches the War with other companions. And--ultimately-- no companions. Likewise Susan's War was fantastic and could really use a sequel or two. And beyond that... does anyone really want to see the War Master range end? Just about the only Time War range I would mind seeing terminated would be the war Doctor Begins thing. So with recent Twitter discussion/teases on future Time War releases, thought this thread might be worth a revival. Care to link to or summarize this discussion? With the quantity of Time War releases seemingly having died down a bit lately (though we still have three War Doctor Begins and two War Master volumes to come), it seems a good point to reflect; what more, if anything, would we like Big Finish to do with the Time War? I'm honestly not sure there's any reason for Big Finish to modify their approach to the Time War at all. Most of the stories take place in the periphery of the conflict, and many don't even feature Daleks--especially as anything more than a background, tangential threat. And it's not like this approach to Time zwar stories somehow excludes or prevents Big Finish from making other stories--we're still getting "normal" 8DAs--and, honestly, looking at Stranded 2, the 8DAs have never been better.

I know i have said it before...But Farscape The Peacekeeper Wars finale where the two opposing factions eventually are given a taste of wormhole technology and its awful consequences if only the TIME WAR ended on such and epic tragic way. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuXNiZa6J_8
