A very happy 86th Birthday to the icon of Doctor Who. Who, in the "They've probably stopped asking Tom to do BF he's said no so much" days would imagine that in 2020 we'd be days away from his 9th series of audios, would have worked with all the other Docs on audio even Tennant, reunited on Phil Hinchliffe led stories, worked with Lalla and Matthew....oh, and would have been back on screen for the 50th as something very familiar but very new at the same time. In a decade where Tom has seemed to be happier than he ever has, it's also very much the decade in which he's truly embraced his legacy as The Doctor and decided to keep adding to it. Long may it continue! According to Chris Chapman over on Gallifrey Base on interviewing Tom for the upcoming Liz Sladen documentary on the S14 bluray Tom is in better health than he has been in a good while and feeling great. Here's to another decade of the legend.

That's a link to BF's page of offers but I didn't see a link to the interview? Anyway, here it is on the BF Youtube page: Tom's on form on this one. How would he react if he saw another Doctor walking down the road? You'll have to watch and see.

I love this wonderful gentleman, and I'm really glad to hear he has no plans to die. A very happy birthday to Mr Baker.

Hello again. Many happy returns to 'the Guvnor'. That voice still has that glorious tone to it, currently listening to The English Way of Death. Really enjoyed, the Mary Tamm/K9 season and the first set of stories with Leela, particularly Wrath of the Icenii. I remember laughing at Radio 4's first broadcast of "Britain, britain, britain..." His narration was hilarious.
Thank you so much for posting those lovely interviews. Such a character. Unforgettable.

The voice of the Doctor is still strong in Tom, even though he looks a little frailer each time I see him...but when he smiles he transforms. Transforms into the Doctor from my childhood!
