Daisy Torme, probably best known to us as playing Melanie Devereaux in Bloodlust, has been mentioned as being the daughter of musician Mel Torme, who among other things wrote the tune and co-wrote the lyrics to "The Christmas Song" (more commonly called "Roasting Chestnuts on an Open Fire"). And her mother was a former actor named Janette Scott, and immortalised in the lyrics to a completely different song...
"And I really got hot when I saw Janette Scott
Fight a triffid that spits poison and kills"
Perhaps Daisy was fated to appear in a gothic horror science fiction picture show?
(The lyrics are from "Science Fiction Double Feature" from The Rocky Horror [Picture] Show.)

And of course Janette Scott is the daughter of Dame Thora Hird, who was in the Quatermass Xperiment (1955) which was pretty much the first Hammer Horror.
