This is kind of random, but one thing I am always fascinated by is how so many objects look like faces! Like for instance faucets on sinks, windows and doors on houses. One particular instance that I have personally experienced is a section of a wood paneled room in my house that inexplicably looks exactly like a side profile of a man’s face: The is a raised eyebrow, a stern eye with bags under it, a long pointy nose, thin lips, and a small chin. I also have noticed in addition to faces, plants especially trees look like they have long fingered hands.
I thought it would be interesting if we shared experiences of times we have encountered particularly interesting objects that inexplicably look like faces or body parts. I’m always curious about other people who experience this regularly as I do🤔😊So what faces in objects have you guys seen?

You're right, that is pretty random. IIRC humans are wired to look for human faces and features. I think most of us will see them even when they're not there, kind of like an inkblot test.
For me, I have kind of a gross story, but I have a pretty thick head of hair that sheds a lot. So when I'm washing it, I stick the excess on the shower wall until I'm finished...and a lot of the time it looks like a man or woman in profile. I've damn near had Alfred Hitchcock once or twice, though given his association with showers, I'm not sure that's a good thing.

All the time - I see faces in the folds of the carpet, in the curtains, even in pictures of flowers and posters of stuff like Harry Potter and Doctor Who(and not the faces of the actors!).
It's a worldwide thing. Look at the world wide visions of the Virgin Mary in everything from office windows to slices of toast!

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

There’s even a name for it: pareidolia. I always thought it was my imagination being hyperactive or just working overtime but it seems perfectly commonplace. A fascinating regularity.

I can recall many an instance in my youth when I used to lie in bed, in the early hours of the morning and stare at my bedroom curtains. Could always see what I thought were faces in the various patterns and folds of the curtain.

Happens all the time when tired or if I look at clouds. I like finding great big objects in the sky like lions, faces and so forth. As others have said it's pretty much part of the wiring
