If only I could find Lungbarrow in physical for a good price considering it's probably my favorite Who story in any medium. What would you suggest paying for it? I got extremely lucky and found it for $3 at a bookshop, sorted seperately from their other Who stuff (a shelf up from Dying Days). I probably would have paid $50 - I had also read the ebook version and loved it and will open up my print copy when I get through the rest of the series! Well if you ever find another copy at a shop or any rarities you’ve got, you know who to message.

I'm hopeful. At one point, I thought I'd never any in a store, then started finding them very slowly, then found about forty at once, then thought I'd never finish the collection because of Lungbarrow, then found Lungbarrow and all bets were off. Now, it hasn't even been four years since I bought the first one - Conundrum - on Amazon and I'm at 57/61. I hope I find at least one of these four in a bookstore again. That's always incredibly satisfying. If only I could find Lungbarrow in physical for a good price considering it's probably my favorite Who story in any medium. What would you suggest paying for it? I spent about £80 on a copy of Lungbarrow, but its because i had inheritance money and knew that would be my only chance to get it

I barely even know there is such a thing as a non-Big Finish Doctor Who purchase, but I went to Time Travel TV and ordered the Reeltime Pictures productions Blake's 7 40th Anniversary DVD, and the Myth Makers DVDs with Lisa Bowerman and Sarah Sutton. Been meaning to do that for awhile now.

Took me a while to actually buy this release, but I want it before the Peter Davison Season 1 releases this December: Tom Baker Season 1 Blu-Ray, still don't like that the United States is doing a Season One, but hey I'm excited to see the increase in quality as the US releases weren't always the best in terms of picture quality (with the NTSC conversion doing a slight downgrade in quality).

The latest of the bi-monthly Target audio bundles from Audible:
Doctor Who: The Second UNIT Collection
This time it's a nicely grouped set of novels: Doctor Who and the... Green Death, Time Warrior, Dinosaur Invasion, Planet of the Spiders, Giant Robot. Read by Katy Manning, Jeremy Bulloch, Martin Jarvis, Elisabeth Sladen and Tom Baker.
Classic stories, top performers and top novelisations, three by Terrance Dicks, and 'The Green Death' and his own 'Dinosaur Invasion' by Malcolm Hulke.
Again, this bundle include a rare title (Spiders) and is an absolute bargain for one credit.

The Dimension Riders - aka Shada, it's pretty much Shada without the good bits of Shada No Future - I always think this one's underrated
That makes a complete run of the first 24 VNAs

I finally got the DVD of The Five Doctors (Special Edition) so I finally will make an effort to watch it. I also got a few more Doctor Who figurines to paint from Warlord Games, since I last bought the Master set, I now got the Warmaster to complete the set and also got the new Timelords set including Rassilon.

Hey, they might even have a Doctor Who section (or just a TV/movie tie-in section with Star Trek, Star Wars etc.) but whether they do or not, make sure you keep an eye out for the Virgin & BBC Books branding in the A-Z sci-fi - you can find some stuff the store might not have recognized as Doctor Who! (ie. All the Virgin books from Eternity Weeps onward, which don't say Doctor Who anywhere on them...) Anytime I'm near a used bookstore, I spare the two minutes to pop in and look - all of my biggest finds have been from popping in on a whim.

They are such wonderful places of discovery, entering them is like setting foot on a new continent, and you never know what you find.

Completely buzzed to have won a $30 bid on a near mint copy of The Dark Path getting one of the rarer VNAs in my collection leaving rarities for the Virgin Books essentially down to: Just War Happy Endings So Vile a Sin Lungbarrow The Dying Days Downtime The Device of Death The Well-Mannered War
Plus quite a few of the non-rare books, but you know whenever there's an opportunity for a rare one on the slightly cheaper side I'm getting it
