Two Doctor Who Eighth Doctor Adventures Vampire Science by: Kate Orman and Jonathan Blum (Orman's one of my favorite authors) Alien Bodies by: Lawrence Miles (I have no idea why he isn't held in high regard though Christmas on a Rational Planet is a crazy weird story)

The Collection: Season 19 18 Blu-Ray
EDIT: That was Season 18 of course. I pre-ordered 19 about 5 seconds after the link went live in August.

Bought the "Beneath the Surface" DVD collection to advance my classic collection further. Especially curious about the Silurians.

Ordered the completed Shada DVD finally. Don't know why I put it off so long, something to do with wanting to save it for just the right moment, and already having a backlog of different versions of Shada? I was planning to watch it on Amazon Prime until I discovered they were charging by the bonus feature so for essentially the same price I could just own it.

Got the latest 7th Doctor comic books from Titan Comics. Don't think you can go wrong with Aaronovitch and Cartmel as writers. Plus the artwork looks quite alright.

'The Macra Terror' audiobook - great story and Anneke Wills is one of my favourite narrators of the range. And for some reason (probably because of the animated DVD being announced for next spring) this audiobook title was heavily discounted for a few days this week, so I snapped it up (with my huge claws )

The latest of the bi-monthly Target audio bundles from Audible: Doctor Who: The Second Alien Worlds Collection
A fairly random-looking collection this time but good to see the two Pertwee stories together: The Sensorites, The Space War ('Frontier in Space') and Planet of the Daleks, The Ribos Operation, The Androids of Tara. By Nigel Robinson, Malcolm Hulke, Terrance Dicks, Ian Marter, David Fisher and performed by William Russell, Geoffrey Beevers, Mark Gatiss and John Leeson Mr. K-9 himself tells the tales of two segments of the Key to Time. (Top readers as usual.)
I'm looking forward to hearing the two stories which I don't know in novel form, while the middle three novels are old friends. 'The Ribos Operation' is brilliant in any form and Ian Marter wrote a superb novelisation as usual, especially in expanding the catacombs into a vast and exciting Shrivenzale-haunted subterranean battlezone, budget no object!

Grabbed Empire of Glass on Amazon - I've no idea when I'll get around to reading it, but it's got Steven, Vicki, Braxiatel, Sontarans and Christopher Marlowe so I couldn't turn down a bargain on it.
Similarly a used bookstore had a 30% sale for Boxing Day so I scooped up The Eyeless which I'd been waffling on at full price. In the end, good reviews, a good discount and the good name of Mr. Lance Parkin won me over.

The Edge of Destruction audiobook read by William Russell, which I already listened to in a long car ride and loved.

The various components of my 13th Doctor cosplay have arrived over the past few weeks. The coat's too long, but not bad overall. Not a great pic, but here it is: For the record, I don't think I'm investing in the shoes, nor a blonde wig. Probably not the socks, either.
