Andy Davidson's been ordered to watch over a local businessman. Everything's always gone right for him, and Andy’s long wondered why.
Owen joins him on the stakeout. He knows something – the businessman's attracted Torchwood’s attention, and tonight, the two of them are going to take him down. But will luck be on their side?

Both of my favourite 'main range' Torchwood releases feature Andy... Coincidence?

Another really solid outing for this Main Range, that's the third in a row now in my opinion. You can't go wrong with Andy and Owen it seems, they've had some of the best episodes in this range in my opinion. Tom Price and Burn Gorman must love doing those, they have an awesome chemistry together.

Well, this was nice. Some great banter in there. It is another audio recorded in lock-down, and another one where you hardly notice that fact. I had expected some more action, but what we get is a bit more subdued and I am surprised how thoughtful it gets and how well it presents a real life issue. It is the characters who make this, and I again have to say I really like Andy. And what a weird little idea with that little monkey! Great effort.

They are turning you into a Tochwood fan tuigirl! Yep, great release. If you had asked me a few years ago if Owen and Sargent Andy would make a good team, I would have laughed loudly. But boy, do they make a great duo.

Now, I wonder what's my favorite duo for Andy. Andy/Norton, or Andy/Owen ? Hard to chose.
He was also quite hilarious with the Eighth Doctor in the first Stranded box set. Based solely on the Torchwood TV series where he's completely in the background most of the time, you would never have guessed that Andy would prove to be such a great and endearing character. Kudos to Big Finish once again for their ability to deepen and develop less "important" characters.

It’s hard to believe considering how dismissive Owen was towards Andy in ‘Corpse Day’ that they would prove to be one of the best double acts Big Finish has to offer.
Really love their friendship in this and I do actually think deep down Owen does consider Andy a ‘mate’ of his. That’s my interpretation at least.
And this is just my thinking but maybe Owen will make a re appearance in Stranded considering how prominent Andy is in it?

I think that Stranded is too late in Torchwood timeline than could support an Owen appearance. I also enjoyed the double-act of them in Three Monkeys. The monthly Torchwood range continue to impress.

That’s very true. But I was more thinking along the lines of the Andy from 2020 possibly going back in time to meet Owen before his second (and so far final) death. I do hope there are more re appearances of the duo planned for down the line in the Monthly Releases.
