I've took advantage of an Audible offer...99p for 3 months, which gives me 3 credits before my subscription goes up to full price.Which it won't, because I will cancel my subscription before that happens.
I thought I'd start a general thread for any other Audible enthusiasts to get recommendations, etc.
So, in my Library I've currently got:
The Masks of Nyarlathotep (from a previous sign-up) The Bounty of Ceres
Which leaves me with 2 credits over the coming months to get a couple more, so I'm thinking of:
Neverwhere (BBC adaptation in 6 parts, which I have on cassette I think)
Doctor Who: Classic TV adventures vol 1 or 2 (narrated soundtracks of the TV episodes, including some pretty good ones, and about 16hrs long!)
Doctor Who: The Earth Adventures (5 Target novel readings including Fury from the Deep and The Pyramids of Mars) 25hrs long.
Any thoughts on these and other recommendations?

Listen to the member free stuff while you can……the alien dramas are excellent as is the sandman …….
Some of the more expensive big finish box sets are on there like 4th doc lost box set worth picking if nothing else floats ya boat……
But the bbc have some big collections on there for 1 credit, soundtracks, monsters, doctor collections are good value too
Outside of doctor who the narnia collection is good value and decent, the vi warshowski collection released next month is good too & the dark materials collection soon to be released is good value too

An Audible subscription for people who like audio stories is like a sweet shop for kids, there's just so much stuff on there ... one credit a month just isn't enough!

I'm probably in the minority here, but I rarely use Audible to purchase audio drama. (with the odd exception: The Conception of Terror, Welcome to Our Village Please Invade Carefully) I prefer to take advantage of Audible to get my hands on unabridged audiobooks that would otherwise be too expensive and take up too much storage space in my CD collection. Plus any opportunity to get multiple novels with the use of 1 credit is always welcome. The Audible App is a godsend for having 20+ hours of audio entertainment in the palm of your hands during a commute. Some of my personal favourites for that reason, include: - Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection
- The Monster Collection (The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Frankenstein, Dracula)
- H.G. Wells: The Science Fiction Collection (The War of the Worlds, The First Men in the Moon, The Time Machine, The Invisible Man, The Island of Dr Moreau)
- Orwell Collection: Animal Farm & 1984
- Shakespeare: The Complete Works by Argo Classics
- The Mythos Volumes (Mythos, Heroes, Troy) by Stephen Fry
- American Gods (A Full Cast Production) by Neil Gaiman
- IT by Stephen King
Also, you get a lot of classic plays for free as a member. The 3 Theban plays by Sophocles (Oedipus the King, Oedipus at Colonus, Antigone) was a hidden gem I wouldn't have tried out without it's ready availability.

I decided on something non-Doctor Who and went for Neverwhere.

I like the mythology books (two so far, I think, with a third on the way) read by Stephen Fry.
