Sounds good but I do hope that June 2022 is not the next time we hear Sylvester. Other than his brief appearance in The End of the Beginning, the last Seventh Doctor story was December 2020!

Glad to see Seven and Mel back on the docket again. It's been a while!

Lovely! Sylvester and Bonnie have been sorely missed this past year. Here’s to more Seventh Doctor to come!

Bonnie Langford has really become one of the stars of 2022 already hasn't she! Mind of Hodiac, The Sixth Doctor Adventures and The Seventh Doctor Adventures!

So its not the pre-TV Movie story we were expecting then.

The Fifth and Sixth Doctor boxsets are linked so the second Seventh Doctor set is likely with Mel too.

I wonder if The Cybermen and Ice Warriors will be in this boxset I think the Cybermen (or some models) are engaged in some infighting by the description of the first story.

Ribos is a very underrated Doctor Who planet.

FINALLY!Been waiting on this for so long... but June, huh? That's gonna be a while. But only two stories, huh? Think this means these are more repurposed MRs? Makes me wonder just how many MRs they had planned out before deciding to end the range. So its not the pre-TV Movie story we were expecting then. That is probably the second Boxset which hasn’t been announced The A/B listing makes me expect the other set will be another "normal" set. I'd expect the long-hyped regeneration set to be a special release, not a normal 7DA release. You know, like Colin Baker's The Last Adventure.

I'd expect the long-hyped regeneration set to be a special release, not a normal 7DA release. You know, like Colin Baker's The Last Adventure. They've said from the start that the new boxsets will be a mix of story lengths - the first Fifth Doctor set is also a two-parter and a four-parter. I wouldn't see any reason to think these are "repurposed MRs".

Well, the reason is that they've done it before. EG the last 5DA was repurposed MRs, and the range including stories of varying lengths doesn't mean none are holdovers from the MR. Quite the opposite--they may be "of varying length" precisely *because* they're including MR scripts.
And given that they seem to want to standardize the boxsets at the new slightly lower price point and shorter overall length, I don't really expect them to waffle back and forth much as we move forward.

The only reason the 5DA set was "repurposed main range stories" was because it was felt insensitive to release The Lost Resort at the height of the pandemic. It's not indicative of anything.

I don't think they're repurposed MRs, given that they were recorded in October this year.
But the new boxset format is largely going to follow that of the MRs - most stories will either be 2-parters or 4-parters.
To be honest, the more we hear about the boxsets, the more I'm looking forward to this new era of BF.
