I’m game. The first set was a pleasant surprise, so more is welcome.

I loved the first volume, one of my unexpected surprises of 2021 from Big Finish. I felt it scratched that itch for Roberts incarnation of the Master for me, though I’m happy for those who want more.
Who knows, nearer the time it might appeal.

I am delighted by this news - Eric Roberts is a terrific, idiosyncratic actor and tailor-made for a role like The Master. I'm also pleased Vienna is back (always a delight to hear from Chase), but I did feel that in the first set, there wasn't enough of the saturnine titular character. I hope that the Master gets a bigger bite of the apple this time; his incarnation is the most vampiric, I think, and is worthy of further exploration.
Really good news.

Snowpiercer with Vienna and the Master, huh? Interesting concept!

Splendid. I must admit I was slightly concerned that the first set might just be a one off and we wouldn’t see anymore of Roberts Master (Well, aside from the occasional and obligatory crossover. Any day now I’m expecting him to show up in the Fourth Doctor Adventures) but clearly there’s a strong appetite for more of this incarnation.
Honestly can’t wait!

I also can’t be the only one who hopes to see the likes of Roberts Master and Vienna in that most American of settings the Old West sometime in the future. Possibly for a third volume? Feel like they’d fit right in there.

Feel like they’d fit right in there. I can imagine that connecting to the other pitch that floated around on the forum: A Vol. 3 set in the Old West, setting up a "family dynasty" that the Master exploits centuries later in Vol. 4 to become President of the United States!

More Vienna? Usually Master releases are instant-buys for me, but I think I'll wait for some reviews on this one. The first set was fun, but it definitely felt more like a Vienna story than a Master story.

Reading the description i did feel nervous that The Roberts Master would basically be a secondary character in his own range

Me too. This quote from David Richardson gives me hope: "At its core, this is the story of the Eric Roberts Master clawing his way back into our universe." I hope he is more central to the story this time around, and from that description, it sounds like he will be.

Using characters like the Master or 7th Doctor behind the scenes and sparingly is a skill. Some of the best Master and 7th Doctor stories use them almost as secondary characters. Look at Live 34, The Sky Man, Most of War Master 2, it's not bad for the Master to be in the background, pulling strings and doing evil whilst we follow somebody else dealing with the consequences. I'd like something more like Missy or the War Master from this set, but honestly this is fine by me.

I'd like something more like Missy or the War Master from this set, but honestly this is fine by me. It is a skill and can be used effectively. Ultimately, it depends on what you’re wanting out of a release. It’s not unreasonable to purchase a set and want the lead actor to dominate and not play a background role. The Master of Callous is one of my favourite releases from Big Finish; I adore the portrayal of the Master in it and wouldn’t want to be without The Persistence of Dreams. I did understand the criticism the set faced at the time due to minimal involvement from Derek Jacobi, particularly at a time when The Sky Man did the same in the previous set and that was just one episode. In the same way I understand some being hesitant over Nemesis Express as it does sound like another Master lite with Vienna being a big presence and the first Master! set was pretty much that. Personally, I feel the Roberts Master is used more effectively in the background, but if you’re a fan then you’re going to want to get the most, especially when he’s not yet dominated in any Big Finish production he’s recorded.

For me, it's less a question of screen time/focus than role. In a Master Range, I want the Master to be the driving force of the narrative--central, not peripheral to the plot. Something like LIVE 34, for example, works because even though McCoy doesn't have many lines, virtually every event we see in that story is a direct result of his actions. It's clearly the Doctor's story, even we he isn't there.
In the first Master! set, the Master felt more like a deuteragonist--at best. He's a very reactive character whose plans fall apart rather easily, propping up Vienna as the hero instead of the Master as an antihero.p (or villain protagonist).
That said, the way things have been going lately, all my trepidations about the 2nd set will probably result in me absolutely loving it.

Exactly Roberts Master was unfortunately sidelined in nearly all of his stories
Life Boat and The Death Boat (Sidelined by River but given its her range its understandable) Day of The Master (Sidelined by The Derek Jacobi and Michelle Gomez Masters In Part Two) Masterful (Basically didn't contribute much to the plot except to troll Beevers Master and was just a glorified cameo) Master! Vol 1 (as you said Deutrangonist to Lila and then Vienna)
i mean compare him to The War Master who felt really in charge in his range we need more of that for Roberts Master
