As the Adieu to a BF and Acting Legend continues in an example of mystery and some respectful mirth In the Whoverse the 7th, 8th and 9th Docs (and some of their Companions) ponder their pasts and face their futures, while UNIT deals with another Axos escape attempt, and Ianto faces chaos theory and day trippers. Meanwhile other universes call in the Cops or they reveal the hidden sides of the "Aftermath" Regards mark687

Only 'After the War' at this early stage of the game, although things could change as reviews come in.

Unlike this month where I only had the 3DA on sale, I have the majority of the releases this month. My most anticipated are Star Cops, as I am very excited to have a third series, the 9DA's as they continue to impress, and either UNIt or the 7DAS, both of which look very exciting, especially both of Lisa McMullin's stories.

This month is a bit busier for me. Several things I am very curious for!
I have the 9th Doctor Adventures on pre-order, since this range has really impressed me and this time it even features one of my absolute favorites- Liv.
Then the 8th Doctor adventures- curious what they come up with, and if they can up the tension and if these one-off stories come close to what they do with the 9th Doctor range. I know that most of us had expected to say good bye to Liv a long time ago, but she has gotten an extension on that- I just hope they do her justice and we get some fresh new stories and no re-treats of familiar territory. Oh, and I also hope there will be some more character stuff for Helen. Now is the chance. Keeping my fingers crossed they take that chance.
UNIT- another range which I really enjoy. The previous ones were quite good, so I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for Kate and Osgood and the others.
Shilling and Sixpence. I liked the first one, but was not as intrigued as others were with it. I just thought that the use of Luise Jamieson was a bit too obvious. However, this has the late David Warner in it. I miss him very much, and looking forward to listening to one of his last performances.

It’s a very strange month for me. All of the Doctor Who releases but I’m not actually excited for any of them.
The Ninth Doctor set is the antithesis of what I’d want from the range. The Eighth Doctor isn’t the fresh new start that Big Finish seem to think it is. The jury’s out on the Seventh Doctor set dependent on what it does and reveals with Harry & Naomi, as their UNIT appearances haven’t done a great deal, but I do like the trailer a lot.
UNIT is perhaps my most anticipated, as I’m intrigued to see where it goes. I’m liking Nemesis enough on the face of it, but waiting for that punch and getting an idea of the bigger picture.

Doctor Who: Sullivan and Cross - AWOL - I've yet to listen to UNIT: Nemesis (I plan to get the bundle once the whole series has been released), but from the trailer this seems like the kind of Seventh Doctor story I'm interested in. Plus Harry Sullivan is always a plus.
Torchwood: The Lincolnshire Poacher - I really enjoyed Mooney and Pringle's previous Ianto story, and this one seems interesting by the fact that the main character isn't actually Ianto Jones.
UNIT Nemesis: Objective: Earth - I've heard great things about the Nemesis series but as said I'm waiting to get the bundle.

9DA: Hidden Depths somewhat reluctantly. I bought the Series 2 bundle and they snuck in the exact kind of crossover I try to avoid. Ah well, Sea Devils not on Earth should be fun at least.
Torchwood: The Lincolnshire Poacher. The writers acquitted themselves well with their previous monthly so curious to see where they go next.

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

Basically, everything on CD. None of the vinyl/books/downloads
Most looking forward to the B7 and Star Cops releases, but perversely not planning to listen to either straight away. Wife paid for B7 for Christmas so when the CD arrives she will hide it away until 25th December. As for Star COps, I might hold off listening until vol 2 of High Frontier arrives next year and then binge the 2 together.

Definitely The Lincolnshire Poacher and strangely enough I’m rather intrigued by the Sullivan and Cross box set.
