"This trilogy involves the Doctor and Clara Oswald pursuing the most dangerous artifact in the universe - the Glamour." What is the suggested reading/listening order of these 3 books?- Deep Time
- Big Bang Generation
- Royal Blood

What is the suggested reading/listening order of these 3 books? Doing some poking around today, it looks like their (not exactly publicly clear) correct reading/listening order is: Royal Blood, Big Bang Generation and lastly Deep Time. Oddly, if you were to go by their ISBN numbers, you'd be reading them in reverse order. In my casual observations, Deep Time was generally the most praised novel of the trilogy by its reviewers.

"Royal Blood" was unremarkable in the extreme, if that's not a contradiction in terms, but "Big Bang Generation" is just a mess. Very heavy going. Maybe it's because I've not followed Bernice since "Twilight of the Gods" and the book's aimed solely at her audio fans; maybe it's just not very good. I don't know, but I can't get a handle on the plot, and have no interest in the characters, and even the Doctor's relationship with Bernice doesn't ring true. (And, seriously, Keri the Pakhar travelled with him as his companion for a time?! I can't believe that for a second!)

I thought Deep Time was a real cracking read. Trevor Baxendale's Who stories never disappoint me. He took a pretty big concept and make it feel personal, which is really the magic formula for sci-fi and fantasy writing.
