I’m picking up Once and Future, 5DA and Doom’s Day. I’m excited for all three. O&F has a great team up, the last 5DA set was strong and the stories here also sound strong and Doom’s Day has turned out to have a surprisingly great second half, with the novel and audiobook both being well above average. Considering my mother in law just came down with COVID and we’re likely going to have to cancel a cruise as a result, it’s nice to have some good stuff in September to look forward to!

For me: Luther Arkwright, because David Tennant. I have however still not listened to the first one yet.
Once and Future, although my enthusiasm for the series so far has been limited.
5DA In the Night because I have enjoyed most of the recent 5th Doctor audios.
Torchwood Dog Hop, because I just love Andy.

In the Night because the Fifth Doctor releases seem to be the most consistent in terms of quality.

Gallifrey: War Room 2 as I really liked the first set and am keen to see where this spin off goes.
In the Night as I really do want to support a range not relying on gimmickry and the premises do sound good.
Also time to restore my Torchwood bundle (admittedly mainly for Sigil), and this one sounds suitably wacky.
And Once and Future, as bundle means I’m committed regardless of how my enthusiasm may have waned. Ah well, maybe Ten in Twelve’s era will work.

Happy that Into the Night is so anticipated, The Fifth Doctor (and the Third) certainly seems to be getting the better classic Doctor stories - I might very well get this, but at the moment my preordered Once and Future release is all I have on the list this month.

Fifth Doctor (despite being underwhelmed since the excellent Lost Resort) - Tim Foley always welcome. And Survivors.

Just pre-ordered The Fifth Doctor Adventures: In the Night. These days it's difficult to resist a gimmick-free, story-comes-first release, and Tim Foley and Sarah Grochala are very good writers.

5DA - Tim Foley is a writer I'm enjoying at the Moment. Friend of the Family was brilliant and I read somewhere he's trying to emulate the early monthly range with this 5DA
I'm likely to buy Gallifrey War Room 2 if I enjoy Time War, I'm currently binging Series 1-3 of the original series.

5DA - Tim Foley is a writer I'm enjoying at the Moment. Friend of the Family was brilliant and I read somewhere he's trying to emulate the early monthly range with this 5DA “In many ways, the script became a love letter to The Monthly Adventures which they’d announced was finishing when I was writing the script. It’s a range I grew up with and always wished I’d written for, so there are lots of references (in both form and content) peppered through the story.” -Vortex 174
