Yes, definitely!
If anyone thinking about this set is sitting on the fence (which would be uncomfortable, since 'they don't like it up 'em'  ), I haven't seen their show or even heard a trailer, but if it's half as good as David Benson's recreation of Frankie Howard's performance in 'Up Pompeii', it will be brilliant.

I didn’t realise it was the same person playing Lurcio as played Panda! Unfortunately, Dad’s Army was never a favourite of mine, but I would love more Up Pompeii! With this and the Roy Hudd release (which I have ordered) perhaps they will do more classic British comedy. There are some “lost” Beyond Our Ken episodes, where the scripts still exist, but the recordings do not. Perhaps I sound write into Vortex and suggest they do a recreation of them… |

He's also in 'The Scarifyers' and the 'Baker's End' series and always excellent.
There was also a pilot show for a new series called 'Twice Ken is Plenty' (Horne & Williams, of course!)
It was never taken up because both actors were busy with other series, but about 10 years ago I heard a recreation of it on R4 - well worth tracking down if it's on YouTube or somewhere. |

Despite listing to either Beyond Our Ken or Round the Horne most nights when going to bed I am clearly not the fan I think I am.
