It’s an interesting one this. Putting Ace in an increasingly no-win scenario and Colchester as an uncomfortable baddie. It’s a good listen, though that said whilst the ending is satisfying it does feel a tad easy.
I do think the Colchester/Ace combination works well, but a part of me would like to hear him in another context, especially as he didn’t really get a story all to himself in Among Us.

Thought this was really good until the ending. The monthly range releases I’ve heard usually tend to fall at the last hurdle, but this was so left-field that it pulled me out, unfortunately. The mentions of the symbols early on were random and then completely forgotten about until Colchester conveniently figures it all out off-screen, so to speak. I didn’t like how reductive it made Ace at the end too.
That aside, the Colchester & Ace interaction was fantastic. They’ve come a long way across their trilogy, both as characters but also the rapport between Clayton & Aldred, which I felt was lacking in their first outing. Wouldn’t say no to another reunion between them, but like above, I’d like to hear Colchester on his own, having not heard the box sets yet.
