I was afraid this might be a story in the vein of Countrycide, where the explanation is mundane and disturbing. I know some people enjoy that, but it's not my thing. Thankfully, this trailer hints that there is more going on than a simple kidnapping, since it sound like molly might be the same age she was when she went missing.

This is by far the best thing that Gareth David-Lloyd has ever written. Everything about this story works, and it's gut wrenching. The cast are amazing. In a range that knocks it out of the park on almost every release, this is outstanding and one of the best things BF have produced.

This story was very well written and acted, amazing and very dark (which is a plus for me).
This story felt very much like it would fit in with the older torchwood audios and is very hard hitting.

A funfair on the seafront is a wonderful setting for a creepy tale. Nia Roberts puts in a wonderful, passionate performance as Alison, mother to Molly, missing no more. The positive reviews are absolutely spot-on; this release should really win an award. I hope it doesn't get lost in the current 'bigger' BF releases. It's become a familiar plotline when people come ... back. When it's a child, it puts extra emotional weight to the situation, and all characters here are flawed and therefore heartbreakingly real. Top writing and acting from Gareth, and everyone in the cast. Brilliant. What a range these Torchwood monthly releases are.

Lisa Bowerman says it best in the behind the scenes: “touching and also strange.”
Embracing ambiguity, this is a very good drama which goes to the human dimension of sci fi which Torchwood often excels at.
