He might not be my favourite incarnation, but I really hope he does stay for longer.
Cheers

I hope he stays. His Doctor is growing on me, and I'd love to have a New Who Doctor to stay on for more than three series.

I hope he decides to stay. I thought he was good from his start and has only gotten better since. Although, that could change after Moffat's final season. But if that changes it will be because of the scripts, not the actor.

I'm still thinking he's leaving but I wish with all my heart he'll stay for Series 11.

I hope he stays. Series 9 really didn't use him to full potential and I'd love to see him stay and grow in the role more.

I immediately loved him when his first episode aired and I, too, hope he stays for a while longer.

I also hope he stays. It doesn't feel like we've seen enough of 12 yet.

If I were *Peter Capaldi* I'd be making these kinds of statements too! There's been too much lazy reporting along the lines of 'and Peter Capaldi will leave to allow the new show-runner his own Doctor' as though it's a side effect of Moffat clearing his office and not because the already rather famous actor who now plays the Doctor is ready to move on. I still suspect that Capaldi will go when Moffat does but it will have been his choice so to do.

Yeah, I think Peter Capaldi will go when Moffat leaves too, but I wouldn't complain if he decided to stay around for another year or two. Capaldi is one of the best Doctor's there has been, and his Doctor is still growing, so a few more years of Twelve would be welcome. I do expect many more 'he's going' or 'he's staying' articles over the coming months though... so I'll take it all with a pinch of salt until something is officially confirmed either way.

I really hope he stays. I would love to see what he does with a new show runner.

I really hope he stays. I would love to see what he does with a new show runner. I would like him to stay as well, not least because we haven't had a new Doctor under two different showrunners since Tom flippin' Baker (when Graham Williams made way for Uncle JNT).

I'm still thinking he's leaving but I wish with all my heart he'll stay for Series 11. Agreed completely. While I doubt he'll challenge Tom Baker's record, he could at least have a swing at Pertwee's.

I really hope he stays at least one more season after Moffatt leaves.

Nothing would make me happier than for Capaldi to stay. He has quickly become one of my favorite Doctors.

Capaldi has to leave with Moffat. He had no chemistry with Jenna, and the electric guitar is a gimmick too far!
