So onwards and err, upwards(?) with Delta and the Bannermen. Oh dear Ken Dodd, & an alien has just walked through a force field(?) & now looks like a milkman? The crowd cheered that bit for some reason.

After work this evening I've been watching 'The Brain Of Morbius' part 4 (enjoyable, though the defeat was a little easy) and Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead for the first time in full since, I believe, it first aired... (I believe I watched 'Silence' when the first River boxset was released, but never got round to redoing 'Forest'. Considering that it's the anniversary tomorrow & the 10/River box is coming out at some point this week, I thought I might as well ).

Today I've been making my way through 'The Seeds Of Doom' in two-episode 'batches'. I'm currently wrapping up part 4, and might finish off the story later this evening, once I've had my bath...

My attempt to endure 7th Doctor continues with The Happiness Patrol. Jeez this is embarrassing, Kandy Man is like something out of Rentaghost.

A rewatch of The Silurians for a four-part fanedit that I've posted about on the fanedit thread. Outside of the TV Movie, I think this has been the toughest one I've put together so far. Not so much for excising content, but context. Ut's one of those stories that thrives on very specific scenes leading up to major plot points. If you're curious, have a look. I didn't end up cutting out what I thought I would.

As a certain TV show marked it's 57th Anniversary yesterday...
..last night I dug out an old DVD of An Unearthly Child I recorded a few years ago (I think it was shown around the 50th Anniversary), settled back and wallowed in the nostalgia of it all.
Tonight I'm going to dig out an even older DVD, fast forward in my viewing twenty years and wallow in even more nostalgia : The Five Doctors (can't remember the last time I watched this in full..😊)

More 7th Doctor, now Silver Nemesis which seems like a Cyberman remake of Remembrance of the Daleks with added Nazis & Courtney Pine. Plus the usual am dram mugging from McCoy.

Another mess, at least the on location stuff makes it look better than the restricted studio stories. & the TARDIS seems to work fine & can go anywhere the professor wants now? Silly attempts to make Doctor Who mysterious, & what on earth was all that stuff with the old US woman in her car?
