I think thematically these should take place between earth shock and time flight and thats what should take importance even if its a bit of a continuity fudge imo. Narratively it does make sense for these storys to go in that gap

Looking at the timeline, I see the Key 2 Time trilogy is placed post-Erimem and Wicked Sisters is after that again.
I personally prefer a bit more of a gap (from the Dr's point of view) between the 2, plus I think it is more credible to keep the "previously-unknown-Dr-temporarily-travelling-alone" gaps to a minimum so I prefer to slot Wicked Sisters into an existing gap rather than create yet another one. So, with this in mind, is there any reason why Key 2 Time can't be set pre-Erimem and Wicked Sisters can't be set during the Gathering gap?

You’d have to perform a miracle to make a gap between Earthshock and Time-Flight anyway. We know from the opening of Time Flight that the Dr took time out to return Lieutenant Scott et al to their own time, so there is definitely a small gap. I think there would be room for a one-off small story, perhaps something like the first epsode of the Main Range story Afterlife, but not much more

There’s nothing other than that to say otherwise. Key 2 Time does have to go after Red Dawn though as it’s referenced in Judgement of Isskar. But the thing is, the Doctor doesn’t actually pick up Peri at the end of Key 2 Time, it ends with him taking Romana and Amy/Abby back to Gallifrey. He does mention that he needs to go find Peri, but I would just assume that Wicked Sisters takes place before the Doctor has picked up Peri again. Presumably he’s just been travelling alone for a while since then. At least I feel that fits better than him having a solo gap right after meeting Peri.

Conflicts of Interests is sometime in the Tegan/Nyssa era between Arc of Infinity and Mawdryn Undead. I think the only reference to go by is Tegan mentions Daleks.
The Interlude, Gobbledegook, is a prequel to the main set. The Doctor is travelling solo and the TARDIS was meant to be en route to Earth, so it’s probably another episode in his return journey to Amsterdam following Omega.
