So do we think this is for the current (series 12) box set or for something not yet announced?
Also does anyone know or can guess who the two actors are in the studio? I think that I really should know the man...

I don't think the recording is for series 12 because series 12 comes out in October, and Big Finish usually records six months before release.

I notice that the ISBN numbers for series 3, 4 and 5 were sequential. Then for series 7, 8, 9 and 10. It sounds like Big Finish were confident to make it to five series, then after six they planned to reach series ten. Not so after that?
Series - ISBN
S01 - 978-1-84435-494-8
S02 - 978-1-84435-512-9
S03 - 978-1-84435-561-7 S04 - 978-1-84435-562-4 S05 - 978-1-84435-563-1
S06 - 978-1-78178-103-6
S07 - 978-1-78178-357-3 S08 - 978-1-78178-358-0 S09 - 978-1-78178-359-7 S10 - 978-1-78178-360-3
S11 - 978-1-78575-205-6
S12 - 978-1-78575-362-6

If you'd looked at this pattern after series 7 it also might have looked as though consecutive numbering was a thing of the past.

On Big Finish’s current website, each product has a unique page number. You find blocks of page numbers and ISBNs bunched together. Big Finish appear to have a way of making pages hidden until announced?

Big Finish appear to have a way of making pages hidden until announced? Yes, that's common on Web publishing. Clicking publish instead of save has caused many a news leak. My point stands though, until we see the numbers for thirteen we won't know if they are consecutive with twelve. If they are, that would replicate what happened around series 7.

It's just occurred to me how to do a "Jago and Litefoot and War" story - the Moment sends him to meet some old friends in order to find himself when it realises he STILL intends to destroy everything after meeting ten and eleven.

So series 13 is definite for Aprul 2017? Hopefully iit will be announced with the release of series 12 Aside from the fact its been recorded (Twitter) and that Ian Atkins will be associate Producer for it and any future Volumes (recent Podcast) we know nothing about Series 13 onwards.

Do they record two series back to back? In the extras for series 12 I think they say 'these stories are ... whereas last week's were ...' So I assume that was a reference to last week being series 11. If indeed they do work on two at a time then we can presume if there's a 13 then there's a 14 also

I also assume that series 13 will involve an explanation of the ubiquitous London pea-souper fog that's continually referred to in the 4th story of series12
jago & litefoot also say ' I hope we've seen the last of the Master ' so I'm guessing that's a set up for a future story that they haven't

For the first time in as long as I can remember there isn't a direct lead into the next series. I must admit, I'd got used to them ...
Cheers

Cheers Tony Not entirely relevant, but the cliffhanger-ending of series 7 was the scorchies getting hired. While still a cliffhanger, it was a lead-in to one episode only, not a lead-in to the series arc. That was the first time that happened.

Still, we had 5 (?) series with some sort of lead-in and I am used to it now Cheers Tony Series 12 is the only one not to have a cliffhanger leading into the next box set {Spoiler}Series 1 - Bodies drained of blood and Litefoot working with someone called Sanders instead of Jago to investigate (Sanders being a vampire and the big bad of series 2) Series 2 - Leela showing up (her presence and mission for series 3) Series 3 - Jago and Litefoot encountering the Sixth Doctor, but not recognising him (Sixie being in series 4) Series 4 - The Sixth Doctor, Jago and Litefoot in a choppy TARDIS (the two Voyage stories) Voyage to the New World - Jago and Litefoot discover they were dropped off in the 1960's (the setting for series 5) Series 5 - Having returned to their home time, Jago and Litefoot are led away by a man calling himself the Colonel (the sub-plot of series 6) Series 6 - Jago and Litefoot going on the run (their on the run status for series 7) Series 7 - The Scorchies audition to Jago (Encore of the Scorchies, but series 8 was more stand-alone than arc-focused) Series 8 - Jago and Litefoot decide to go on a cruise (the setting for series 9) Series 9 - Jago and Litefoot learn someone wants to be their biographer (sets up a recurring character for series 10) Series 10 - The Master hypnotises Quick (sets up the Master as the antagonist for series 11) Series 11 - Ellie, as a vampire, attacks someone at the Scarlet Gallery (sets up the vampire arc for series 12 and leads into the plot first story)
