It's like when the Tenth Doctor audios were formally announced. I wasn't able to get onto the website for ages because of all the internet traffic. Dark Eyes, Light at the End, Tenth Doctor, will this once again cripple the servers? They even say in the news item to download responsibly because of all the expected traffic! Hopefully they've factored all that in and increased their bandwidth accordingly. I think downloads are hosted on separate servers (Amazon?) so it should only be the site that takes the hit (not good if you are trying to order in a hour sale tho' ). Cheers Tony Hopefully the discounted price remains as long as you put the release or bundle in your basket while the discounted price was applicable, or there'll be some people getting a number of packages and paying shipping for each release/bundle. It's possible the two volumes of Big Finish Companion may be one of the offers. Now that's going to be hefty both in postage costs and weight! Definitely worth getting if you have the funds and storage space.

I should test it with things I don't want.

Not really a fan that so far you can only get the sale price if you buy the whole bundle of titles.

Ditto - I've got Dorian and Frankenstein (both superb), Wizard of Oz (less superb), no view on Phantom and might have sprung for Treasure Island. Oh well, roll on noon!

I just now remembered this was the day for March Madness. Since there's a blizzard warning here I decided not to drive the 83 miles to work today... so I'll be around during this.
That is, if the BF site doesn't melt down. lol
However I'm not expecting that there will be any deals that I haven't already bought at least some part of. Unless the huge Benny CD bundle comes up again I guess, I passed last time, as I've been holding out for whenever they got the D/L rights sorted on those.
That's funny, my 2nd ever BF order back in 2012, included the Mary Shelly Trilogy, at full normal D/L price.
edit: Yeah the Classics bundle - I'd probably have gotten the two titles I don't already have if they had been separate listings as well.

Funny; I went to bed early with plans to get up at 5 (US time here), only to wake up an hour early and realize I got up at the right time anyway!
That said, not much for me in the first three sales. The Classics one would be a must if I didn't already have The Phantom of the Opera (which I adored; possibly the only adaptation that does the original Leroux novel justice!) and Frankentein (I'll avoid commentary; if you can't say something nice...). I want to get The Picture of Dorian Gray at some point, but I guess I'll nab it another time.
But, it's only the first three sales. I can't be upset that I didn't buy anything yet, as it means I can hold out hope for the next nine! So no complaints here as of yet!

Yes, I don't know why they decided to bundle these together. I also have 2 of the titles so I have no desire to pay for them again.

Note from BF
Please note that we are anticipating that the Big Finish website will be experiencing heavy traffic during the March Madness offers. Please download responsibly Given they expected this, they both should and could have mitigated it, they have the ability to put downloads on other peoples servers (a CDN to be accurate) and they should have done so today, indeed I often wonder why their entire download catalogue is not on a CDN.

That's funny, I rather liked Frankenstein. Dorian, I have it but I've banked all the Dorian stories for future listening, Oz I bought and kind of wish I hadn't. That leaves Phantom and Treasure Island that I don't have, but there's no way I'm gonna buy Oz twice.

I'd like to request that the people posting the news announcements also post the sale price and reduction, so we don't have to load the site to find out.
Edit: Thankyou Mark!
