For the love of god, why? THey've shown with the 4DAs that this is a horrible horrible idea. I'd much rather two four parters or a four parter / six parter or something. TWO DISK....not two parts (same as main range or early) That'll teach me to respond to posts before I've had my coffee

We're going to get some news this week according to the latest 'Catch Up' article (second last paragraph from the end): That's all for this week, but stay tuned for more juicy details from the worlds of Big Finish this week: including new info on the Third Doctor's next full-cast adventure!www.bigfinish.com/news/v/this-week-at-big-finis46'Juicy details' makes it sound like more than one bit of news too. Could we find out about the other secret project John Barrowman was involved in?

Unless it means the next boxset is a ten parter. it could mean that they are just announcing the first story Maybe they will be releasing the stories individually like they are now doing with Philip Hinchcliffe presents (there were people on this site objecting to the stories only being purchasable as a set - Maybe Big Finish responded to this request)

The 4DAs suffer from the same problem the 21st century series does, some stories are just too short and need more time to grow and mature their ideas/situations.

Third Doctor Adventures Volume 02 is coming out this November and the third volume will be released July next year. Both will have two four part stories and Guy Adams and David Llewellyn are writing stories for the second volume. It's on the latest podcast at around the 3 minute mark: www.bigfinish.com/podcasts/v/the-big-finish-podcast---john-barrowman

Both volumes will be available to pre-order at some point this week. Stories for volume two: The Transcendence of Efros by Guy Adams, set on a dying planet exploited by Galactus Power Incorporated, and The Hidden Realm by David Llewellyn, where a search for a missing family member of Jo's leads to a new town and an alien trader profiting from a deadly line in fashion.

Very Exciting. From what I have heard from Guy Adams and David Llewellyn, I have good trust in these being top notch stories!

His Torchwood stories are absolutely stellar! And I REALLY loved his adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray! I haven't actually listened to any of his other work on The Confessions of Dorian Gray or Bernice Summerfield, though.

It's a pretty good status to achieve. From an Iris story back in 2012 to at least a quarter of the Torchwood output we're aware of!

Sorry got to get the Dorian plug in its my favorite range! David is one of my favorite Big Finish writers. His work on the recent Gallifrey: Enemy Lines was also excellent. Have yet to hear anything by Guy Adams but as I preordered a bunch of stuff that he wrote it won't be long now.

Fiesta of the Dammed hopefully be his "The Wrong Doctors" in a sense!

I really liked his Torchwood release, More Than This, and Random Ghosts from 2014's Bernice Summerfield boxset was really good. His adaptation of All-Consuming Fire was good too, but I don't know how it compares to the novel, since I haven't read it.

Have yet to hear anything by Guy Adams but as I preordered a bunch of stuff that he wrote it won't be long now. Guy Adams wrote: - Iris Rides Out from Iris Wildthyme: Series Three (features Marcus Hutton as Thomas Carnacki)
- Random Ghosts for The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield: Volume One
- The Pyramid of Sutekh for The New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield: Volume Two The Triumph of Sutekh
- Adapted All-Consuming Fire for the Novel Adaptations
- Big Society for Vienna Series Three
- Torchwood: More Than This
- Capital and Punishment, the two-part finale for the Twelfth and final (as far as we know) Blake's 7 Liberator Chronicles
He's got quite a few stories coming up including June's Torchwood, August's Main Range, Torchwood and New Adventures of Bernice Summerfield, one of the final Confessions of Dorian Gray, Torchwood Outbreak and the opening story of the next Diary of River Song. A strong writer for sure.

There is a theory that Guy Adams was created between Matt Fitton's twelfth and final regenerations. An amalgamation of his infrequent spelling errors and slip ups in grammar.

Pleasure to work with both of them. In fact, that reminds me, I've got to get on with reading a script from one of them for... but that would be telling.

There is another theory that states Guy Adams was created as a golem by the Evil Wizard Dorney. Moulded from mud gathered by Patsy the mudlark and brought to life by slapping the title page from The Trouble With Drax on its forehead.

Does removing the title page for Trouble with Drax de-power Guy Adams?

It reduces the quality of his output by an estimated seventy-five percent, rendering him effectively illiterate.
