Maybe the short trips need a new strap line "read by an original cast member" is now a bit out of date.
Not a complaint, these sound great and are tempting me to subscribe.

I've found them to be consistently good, quality-wise and people shouldn't be put off because they are download only. Well worth the money. Cheers Tony

Fun fact: With these releases, the Monk will have faced every pre-War Doctor except the Sixth. One on TV, Five and Seven in comics (and Seven in a novel) and Two, Three, Four and Eight on audio.

Oh right! I totally did. And I guess he did sort of cause some troubles for Six and Seven as well.

Mmhm. I wouldn't call those Monk stories anymore than something like Blood Heat is.

I am so happy that they are doing a story with Harry.
Perfect format to bring one of my favourite companions back.

Great to hear there's going to be more of the Monk, I always enjoyed the character I hadn't, however, been able to afford The Black Hole, and was completely unaware as to the identity of Rufus Hound's character (I would think it very surprising if he's back at Big Finish playing a different character already, especially given the way the news article reads). I'm a little disappointed by the spoiler, but it is good to know there are more Monk stories on the way (also, the news that Tim Treloar is doing more Third Doctor is very welcome, especially with the news that recording for the next box set begins in June!) I may have to subscribe to a Short Trips series soon. I'll give my free story with The Peterloo Massacre a whirl and see what I think

Including Doctor Who: Rulebook written by own very own Tony Jones - well done Tony Cheers Tony I'm blushing (and sharing the link with family!) Indeed and well done. I'll throw a hear hear into the mix. So this would be the first true Peri/5 story in what, almost a decade? Longer?

In the monthly range it's been eight years since The Bride of Peladon. Piscon Paradox was in 2011, though, as was Short Trips Vol. 3.

Rufus Hound sounds like a good narrator.
