I don't know the Dark Shadows titles, both the Doctor Who are excellent
I will move this thread to Big Finish as a whole as it crosses lots of ranges

I have yet to hear Doom Coalition. As well as today's special offer, Part One of Bloodlust is permanently free here. I genuinely can't recommend it highly enough. To anyone. Whether they know ANYTHING about Dark Shadows or not. Part One is about about half an hour long and I bet it hooks you.

Doom Coalition is also excellent - Mark Bonnar is brilliant as the Eleven!
Cheers

I've heard a lot of good comment about Doom Coalition, I must get back into Dark Eyes and finish that so I can hear DC.

Best of luck to all that are nominated. But especially, if I'm honest, to the Dark Shadows stories because they are excellent, and any further awards can only raise the profile of this tremendous audio series.

If anyone is thinking about Bloodlust and you are a download purchaser, you can actually buy the complete series separately for £35.88 instead of paying £40 for the bundle (episode 1 is free and 2-13 are £2.99 each).
Just a heads up ...
Tony
EDIT: and you can buy the download bundle for £35, saving even more!

I think it speaks volumes that all five nominees in the audio category are Big Finish titles and all of them deserve to be there.

All of the Doctor Who titles were fantastic.
I'm sure the Dark Shadows ones are fantastic too - sadly I just can't get into that series, I gave Bloodlust a shot a while back and it did not hold my interest.
The Pathfinders title was also excellent, I think that range has really benefitted from the shift to 2 hour episodes.

I think I got it on sale for $25 or so. It is indeed very good, and I'm told it's great for folks new to Dark Shadows, but I just can't forget all I know and hear it with the ears of a newcomer. So can't really judge. I may grab Twinkling of an Eye later if I remember.

Perhaps the CDs of Bloodlust are on sale, I am not sure what they cost before. But the download version is not on sale. It's always priced at 20.00. At least it was when I bought it.
Twinkling of an Eye probably is the best deal out of all of these at only 2.99, it's a steal. It's excellent although it may not have the same impact if you have not heard Bloodlust.

Picked up Damaged Goods, which I had been hoping for a sale on.

I've listened to all of the first episode, I'm also familiar with the tv series and it never really clicked with me.

The only one of these that I don't have is Pathfinders, and it doesn't really interest me right now. But all the rest are wonderful.
