As revealed by Eve Myles herself on her Twitter page! I feel it's a little bit late to be recording today and have the release next month so I doubt this is for 2.6 (but I may be wrong) so possibly a solo Gwen story opening up Series 3?

It's a huge relief that Eve Myles' tweet from a few months ago was a false alarm. It would have been a shame not to get any more Gwen stories.
This also means there's a good chance of another story with Rhys in Series 3.

Hopefully this gets us a little closer to some full cast Torchwood stories with the whole gang. Only Burn Gorman hasn't recorded yet, surely it's only a matter of time.

I remember saying maybe there was a misunderstanding from those tweets but many people were convinced it definitely meant she didn't want to play Gwen again at all. I am not sure what those tweets actually meant but I think this shows you should not jump to conclusions until official statements are given. And no random tweets on twitter are not official without clarification.
Anyways I am glad she's back and the interpretation behind those tweets were either wrong or she changed her mind.

I personally thought it very significant that the twitter outburst in question was late on a Saturday evening and never repeated.
Be honest, who here hasn't sent an embarrassing message late on a weekend evening!

Well it is The Year of the Master... Scott Handcock's Twitter account clarifies this was a reference to RTD, who visited the studio. RTD is brilliantly supportive of BF, I wish they could persuade him to do a RTD presents box set for classic docs

Imagine an RTD Sixth Doctor box, or Hinchcliffe with the Tenth Doctor.
