I feel like Big Finish should offer up a refund to anyone who preordered this productio and that they should remove the solicitation for the item until such time as the production is recorded and in the can.

Not to be rude, right, but why is Nick being allowed to write anything else whilst this has been available to order with no updates for two years now? Fair enough point.

I would imagine, as executive producer, Nick makes the rules (unless Jason intervenes). And from a purely numbers standpoint, it only makes financial sense that he focus his energies on products that will move significantly more units than a niche classics title that’ll sell...what, a few hundred? That's a fair point, but then why announce it and start taking pre-orders if you keep giving more lucrative projects priority and never get around to it?

Actually he did comment in a Podcast "Not this year Sorry".

Yes but its also previously listed on DEC 2016 and DEC 2O17 before. December is sometimes used as a holding date for something that doesn't have a confirmed release.

Thank you.
The only mention I remember hearing is in banter between him and Benji (I think) - something along the lines of "Maybe next year - or the next, haha!"

It's gotten to the point where Nick needs to prioritise this, give it to someone else to do, or the product page is taken down until there's evidence of a release date sooner than TBC. This was announced over two years ago, and we've had no updates beyond a glib remark of "not this year" (which had to be prompted) since then.

Because I feel like causing trouble, I just tweeted BF asking for an update, saying it has been two years with no word on whether it has been cancelled or assigned to someone with more time to work on it and that they haven't communicated with customers what is going on with the production.

I don’t know if anybody actually runs it manually any more. It used to be pretty easy to get likes and retweets whenever you sent any positive vibes their way, but for some time now, nothing. At least in my experience.

Seems like fans haven't been treated well in regard to this release. It is, I think, the only time I have felt in any way let down by BF. It says how good their service usually is for this to be the only issue in nearly 20 years that has actually annoyed me. But it has. And it continues.

Didn’t Charlotte pollard series 2 take preorders and then get delayed forever? Honestly if a company takes money and for a product to be delivered on a certain date, they better make that date with room for several months or reach out for refunds. While this doesn’t happen a lot, to keep money for more than that and not deliver a date, that’s pretty indefensible.

My last post was before a lot of coffee, so apologize all the typos 😊
But I do think that when a business takes money with a date for delivery, they have made a commitment. And for dates to slide more than one or two months shows a lack of professionalism. No excuses of, ‘I am too busy’. When you take money, you need to make your commitments. Frankly, if they can’t do that, they should issue an immediate refund until they can get their act together. BF is a business, and in general they do hit their dates with no issues, but to give them credit for ‘well nick is a busy guy’ is ok for a month or two delay, but being more than that (and years for Charlotte pollard) with no refund....dang that’s unprofessional!
