Rolling list of stuff from Nick's Twitter Q&A: - Rights for Campion were looked into, but too expensive - Still waiting for Ben Miles to be available to record the next Callan set - Third Doctor Adventures Volume 6 is recording next month - "No plans" for any more Graceless (this appears to contradict previous information?) - Space: 1999 recording in the Spring - "Strong likelihood" of more Gerry Anderson material - Alex Macqueen will "definitely" be back as the Master at some point - Jekyll & Hyde adaptation is still on, Nick is "more than halfway" through adapting it; no more Classics in the pipeline apart from that - "No more plans" for more Short Trips Rarities - Davros will definitely return - No plans for more Frobisher, Class, Iris or Juliet Landau as Romana - Nick thinks they should "look into" working with Titan to use some of their original companions on audio - Farscape also looked into ruled out due to rights issues - Tom stories are recorded beyond the end of the current license; they are trying to "move forward" with all their Doctors because it makes for easier scheduling - "Working through" scripts for the next Charley series at the moment - Plans for more Lost Stories - Plans for the monthly range to be "restructured", but they don't want to announce anything before they've got all those plans sorted - More Constance stories are coming - "Looking into" more Jenny/Rose stories - There are "future possibilities" for companions other than Ian, Barbara and Susan in the First Doctor Adventures, "but not in the way you might imagine" - More Daisy Ashford as Liz in the 3DAs very likely - No "firm plans" for Lost Stories from the new series, but not an out-and-out denial - Several hints there may be another Unbound story - More Lucie stories coming - Christopher Benjamin may continue to feature as Jago "from time to time" - "Very probably" going to be Torchwood Series 7 - More Derek Jacobi as the Master in other ranges after the War Master series has come to an end - No firm plans for the next set of 10DAs, but any time DT wants to do some they'll be there Just thought it would be interesting to see what has come to pass...and what “No plans” have come to pass and what we still could have in store.

Am I the only person who can't see the point of using the Corsair? His/her function in "The Doctor's Wife" is pretty much as a non-character, and the way they are described is strongly suggestive of a series of Captain Jacks, and we've already got one of those.
On the other hand, if the Shopkeeper really is the Corsair, and the Chair of Governors really is the Shopkeeper, I would like to see the 'Class' cliffhanger resolved.

I’d just love to see Neil Gaimen writing for Big Finish.

That's another thing. Why does everybody assume that "I'm in" means "I will grant Big Finish a licence for use of this character, to which series I shall personally contribute as a writer" ?!

Neil doesn't have to grant licence. It's the BBC's character and would therefore be part of the existing licence. Neil saying I'm In insinuates some further involvement than writing Doctor's Wife, should it go ahead.

I don't assume anything. I would just like to see Gaimen writing for BF and if Big Finish obtains the license to do Corsair stories the chances of that happening probably increases.

Audio Watchdog - rest assured, I wasn't referring to you specifically but to the many other people throughout the internet who have put two and two together before it's been established that it equals four.

Not assuming anything but...
Just imagine: Neil Gaiman writing a character who could essentially serve as an Unbound Doctor - a sort of "Neil Gaiman's Doctor Who". Let him carve out his own corner of the Doctor Who universe with a new Time Lord, new companions, new worlds...

I don't think anyone's taken it as confirmed, just having fun with the idea that it very well could happen.

Neil saying I'm In insinuates some further involvement than writing Doctor's Wife, should it go ahead. Actually, as Neil created the character, he would own the rights. The BBC own rights to format essentials (the Doctor, TARDIS, etc) that would be presented to each individual writer. But anything those writers create that hasn't been given to them is their... In the same way Russell owns Slitheen, Mark Gatiss owns the Gelth, Steven owns Weeping Angels, the Corsair would very much fall under Neil...

Yeah, Paul wasn't recording Colchester... but blimey, last time we recorded any Colchester was over a year ago. Blink twice if we're getting an Aliens Among Us/God Among Us follow-up 👀

Blink twice if we're getting an Aliens Among Us/God Among Us follow-up 👀 Per the post that mbt66 quoted above: Nick seemed to think back in October that it's "very likely" there will be a TW series 7. To me that's a "yes, but we need time to get all the pieces together and get some of it recorded before we announce anything."

- Rights for Campion were looked into, but too expensive - Still waiting for Ben Miles to be available to record the next Callan set Still not happened
- Third Doctor Adventures Volume 6 is recording next month Due out next month
- "No plans" for any more Graceless (this appears to contradict previous information?) Wicked Sisters just announced
- Space: 1999 recording in the Spring hmmmm
- "Strong likelihood" of more Gerry Anderson material nothing annoucned yet
- Alex Macqueen will "definitely" be back as the Master at some point Masterful
- Jekyll & Hyde adaptation is still on, Nick is "more than halfway" through adapting it; no more Classics in the pipeline apart from that Presumably he's ahd more time to work on it!?
- "No more plans" for more Short Trips Rarities - Davros will definitely return Time War 4
- No plans for more Frobisher, Class, Iris or Juliet Landau as Romana Class 3&4 coming, still set during the TV series
- Nick thinks they should "look into" working with Titan to use some of their original companions on audio That would be fun, just lacking Doctor actors
- Farscape also looked into ruled out due to rights issues - Tom stories are recorded beyond the end of the current license; they are trying to "move forward" with all their Doctors because it makes for easier scheduling Everybody knows this about Tom!
- "Working through" scripts for the next Charley series at the moment slowly....
- Plans for more Lost Stories Return of the Cybermen and The Doomsday Contract are announced
- Plans for the monthly range to be "restructured", but they don't want to announce anything before they've got all those plans sorted Monthly Adventures go up to #275 - March 2021, and you can't subscribe past, which has made people think they are up to something...
- More Constance stories are coming They are starting this month, a new trilogy
- "Looking into" more Jenny/Rose stories Hawsn't Georgia Moffett hinted this?
- There are "future possibilities" for companions other than Ian, Barbara and Susan in the First Doctor Adventures, "but not in the way you might imagine" Still don't know what this means
- More Daisy Ashford as Liz in the 3DAs very likely Hopefully Season 7?!
- No "firm plans" for Lost Stories from the new series, but not an out-and-out denial - Several hints there may be another Unbound story Ooooh!
- More Lucie stories coming - Christopher Benjamin may continue to feature as Jago "from time to time" Will guest star in The Paternoster Gang 4
- "Very probably" going to be Torchwood Series 7 - More Derek Jacobi as the Master in other ranges after the War Master series has come to an end We know he's been in studio just before the lockdown, plus again Masterful
- No firm plans for the next set of 10DAs, but any time DT wants to do some they'll be there

It's totally them having fun atm. It's social media click bait etc etc. All harmless fun until/unless something is announced then we can celebrate
