Yeah, my expectations are lowered for the Monday announcement for some reason. Unless it's something big they intended to announce at Big Finish Day today, but I have my doubts

Given the context I still think it's possible that they're able to reopen the warehouse and start sending out CDs again.

Joe Sims is playing Mark Seven in The Dalek Protocol, which is surely a recasting of the role originally played by Alan Cox in The Destroyers (the Terry Nation Dalek series pilot adapted for The Lost Stories): www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/1/M85443.html

Didn’t think much of The Destroyers but I did think his character had promise. Wouldn’t have minded seeing further adventures with him and Sara Kingdom.

Remember that supposed Christopher Eccleston contributor page on the BF website a couple of weeks ago? Well it was changed to say Kit Williams, and now the page has been removed entirely from the BF website.
Make of that what you will.

Do you know if it’s a Nicholas Briggs script at all?

Do you know if it’s a Nicholas Briggs script at all? I seem to recall many, many moons ago that Nick said he was working on a Tom Baker/Dalek script (probably some time around 2016). Since we aren't aware of any others I'd say it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume this is it. It was mentioned so long ago that recording in 2018 isn't beyond the realms of possibility. What's more surprising than anything else is that this was recorded in 2018 and we still haven't heard anything about it yet. They've only recently been recording Series 14 of the Fourth Doctor Adventures, so it's incredibly unlikely something recorded two years ago isn't going to be used until (something akin to) 2025. I'm not sure why this hasn't been announced yet.

Have they started Series 14? Shadow of the Sun was recorded for Series 13 and that was only recently.
We’re definitely not gonna see Sarah Jane in the 4DAs for a long while yet anyway. Assuming that they’ve even got a Sarah Jane series in the pipeline, we wouldn’t see it for like over five years unless things got reshuffled.
We’re definitely more likely to be seeing Three/Sarah boxsets much sooner. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s in next year’s 3DAs although I suppose that’s already been teased.

Given Tom Baker's advancing years I think at the very least they will record some Sarah Jane adventures for a future release.

I pretty certain they said Shadow of the Sun was intended for Series 14; if it was going to be in Series 13 then it would have already been announced with the rest of Series 13 anyway, so it only makes sense that it would have been for 14+.

I Will say that its going to be incredibly interesting to see how the reception a Third Doctor Adventures volume will be with just Recasted actors and no classic series actor returning (Although i guess Sgt Benton will be the exception if John Levene returns)

FWIW: I think some series of 4DAs are recorded out of order, as I believe this year's E-Space stories were recorded *after* a series yet to be released. There are also plenty of other 4DAs which were recorded quite a while ago and haven't yet been announced.

There are also plenty of other 4DAs which were recorded quite a while ago and haven't yet been announced. I think Series 11 was recorded in 2017, which was kind of at the same time as Series 10, which I think finished recording in 2018, after they had already done Series 9. So I’d guess it’s more a case of them having multiple series on the go at roughly the same time rather than them swapping things around too much. Like for all we know E-Space was always going to be Series 9 but maybe scheduling meant they had to record it later than some of the other stuff they were doing with Tom and Louise.
