Re - Tom recording in advance. Isn't there still the Nersy Hughes stuff still to come, and if so when 2025? The Nerys Hughes stories are The Ravencliff Witch in the 2022 series, and then all of the 2023 series.

I've found another reference to the Martha set on someone's CV, which means we know all four titles, and even more or less what order they come in, before it's even been announced: www.spotlight.com/7811-0165-80591. The Last Diner The Hour at the Hospital / Silver Medal 4. Deceived

I Doubt it will be a Novel Adaptation but more Harry Sullivan and 4 would be nice (still curious how his Harry sounds- the teaser trailer didnt feature him)

It did, it just didn’t sound much like him and it was brief. Unless you were making a joke that is, then don’t mind me.

On Reddit i saw the latest podcast notes Regarding Mark Seven in ‘The Dalek Protocol It is indeed a Fourth Doctor Audio written by Nick Briggs
Also another Reddit poster said There was an interview with Jacob Dudman shared recently where he implied that in the second 11th Doctor Chronicles he was cast as The Doctor as apposed to the narration/Doctor in the first one. The Poster was unsure if this means The Chronicles are becoming more Full Cast or the poster misinterpreted what was said either way its interesting to speculate

I honestly don't know why I put Karen when my brain meant Ian McNiece 🤦♂️ I think I'm just conditioned to mention Arthur and Karen together in relation to Who

I’m coming in and playing the 11th Doctor and that is the first time I think I’ve gone in and it’s just my take on the 11th Doctor as opposed to right, now I have to put Matt’s head on."

Honestly I’m kind of okay with this as long as it’s just in the 11 Chronicles. I’d prefer if they’ve got the companion narrating, like if it’s Kazran or they’re introducing a new companion who’ll narrate or even just the guest star of the episode. Purely because Dudman’s Smith is so strong that I think it could work, but I wouldn’t want them to do it with Eccleston, Tennant or Capaldi. It could always just be that this is a two hander story like Regeneration Impossible I suppose. The Eleventh Doctor and Brian Williams trapped in a cupboard together or something silly like that. If there’s one thing I want out of these, it’s perhaps a bit more connected storytelling. Like maybe introduce a new villain/alien that appears in all four stories spread throughout an era? Or as I’ve already mentioned, introducing a new companion that can recur throughout some of the stories, or if not a companion even just some sort of ally that pops up across the various chronicles. And definitely do more character pieces. Honestly I’d rather have the tv companions narrated than just having the Doctor solo with a one off companion in each story. Particularly id like to see Kazran and Osgood become the “Chronicles Companions” for the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor respectively. Just save those two a slot in every set and then do what you want with the other three episodes. One of things I wasn’t a huge fan of in the Twelfth Doctor set was that none of the tv companions appeared, like I understand why they did it but I’d prefer if they’d stuck Clara or Bill in there somewhere instead of having him solo in every story.

That'll put the cat among the pigeons with the "I hate recasts" types I've generally been okay with the BF recasts, but I'm not a fan of this one. I can understand casting Bradley and Treloar and others who are no longer with us (or in William Russell's case, not doing them on a regular basis due to age/health). But I don't like the idea of recasting the Eleventh Doctor when Matt Smith is still around and will potentially do BF in the future. I'm absolutely fine with Jake doing his interpretation of Ten/Eleven/Twelve in his role as the narrator, but being cast as the Doctor? Not for me. It goes against what the Doctor Chronicles were made for - they were essentially meant to be New Series Companion Chronicles, moving it to full-cast stories doesn't make much sense. I'd love full-cast Eleven stories, but not until Matt Smith signs on to do them. The only way I'd be accepting of it is if they have the second character doing the narrating and Jacob just doing the voice, but even then I'm a bit iffy about it.

I have a very strong feeling this is what it'll be. I'm almost certain they'll have an established companion or side-character acting as narrator with Dudman's Doctor popping into the story when necessary.

They could make a whole boxset out of that.
