Ehhh its decent but the decision to make Ann Kelso aggressive and moody (like Tegan in the tv series) is kinda offputting I didn’t find her to be like that at all. Neither did I. I really liked that set of stories. My only complaint was that they didn't make her arc longer. I would have liked her to have lasted a few seasons before her story concluded.

They’re definitely worth a listen. I’ve always found the Fourth Doctor Adventures to be quite patchy, but Ann’s series is a lot of fun and she’s a breath of fresh air that seems to work better in the 2x25 minute format than the actual TV companions. I think it’s the best series of the 4DA’s after Series 9.
As mentioned, the real flaw is that she’s a one series and done companion. I’m intrigued to see her pop up in The Diary of River Song, even if it seems to be the crutch of pairing River with a Doctor Who element; the Mechanoids in this case.

Ann was a great character and series 8 is excellent. I guess the arc 'surprises' aren't surprises any more but just in case... let's just say I listened to S8 without even looking at the artwork and what unfolded was a classic-era fan's dream! (Though I too would have liked Ann to have more series.)

I would think, assuming it's DW, Power of the Daleks?

I would think, assuming it's DW, Power of the Daleks? Nice guess - but I wouldn’t need the blu-ray of that for research, just completism!

Perhaps River Song has built her own K-9? Certainly would be in character for her. Although somehow I feel Fe-Line would suit that role.
