So, I was just having another look through Emily Woodward's Spotlight CV, and it says that she's recorded four new Avengers stories under the series title Steed and King: www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/1712-4536-2495The stories are Wild Wild Wild Wild West, Under the Weather, Spycraft, ...Now You Don't More very exciting news.
Those are 'newly written new' aren't they as well as 'newly recorded new'? (Going by the titles.)
Isn't that a breakthrough for BF with 'The Avengers'? (And did everyone except me already know they could also do new stories now?)
The net doesn't seem to know those titles in connection with 'The Avengers' so maybe they are 'new new'. They could be unmade TV scripts, printed short stories etc. but if 'Avengers' super-fans are anything like Who super-fans, I doubt there's a single title ever even hinted at back in the day that isn't recorded in some list on wiki or somewhere searchable.
Clearly this is an interesting case... kudos to Whovitt for a great piece of intelligence work! *lifts bowler, raises champagne glass*

It would be great if they were new stories, although I guess it's possible they are adaptations of old comic strips as I don't think many of them had titles. Either way, I'm very happy that it looks as though we will be getting more Steed and Tara stories.

Sudden thought, this was probably the Wilf story! Wilf and Dorney, sign me up right now! (As though I wasn't already signed up ) Actually, I just found something on Twitter - someone recorded a panel with David Tennant on the 22nd where he says that the recording for Volume 3 was "imminent" then, so unless they recorded Bernard Cribbins' part separately, Dorney's tweet must have been about something else... (Here's the Twitter thing (top response - no direct link because it's someone's personal account, and I didn't think it was right to link to their account from here): twitter.com/search?q=catherine%20tate&src=typdI also checked Wizard Con's guest list, and David was definitely there on the 22nd) I love the bit where he realises Catherine Tate has already let it slip and he says "Fine, it's not my fault" and continues talking about it

Dorney suggested later on it wasn't Wilf (someone suggested the Graff Vynda-K and he replied that was "along the right lines").

Apparently Michael Jayston said in one of the interviews for Benny The Story So Far that he'd been recording a few months before then, and, according to the recording dates, it's not anything that's already out, so it's possible we might be getting some more of the Valeyard again pretty soon.

At this point, some of it has probably already happened! Right But it's still future tense for us More Ten always perks me up And more Donna does for me! She was easily my favourite new series Companion before Bill came along - down to Earth, fun, a great travelling buddy for Ten ('No, we're not a couple!' ) and brave - what an heroic ending, even though a very sad one.

Maybe it's something to do with Six's 20th anniversary box set? That wouldn't fit with the theory that that set will feature Peri as well though... (unless it's the older Peri?) Either way, more Michael Jayston is always a good thing

Either way, more Michael Jayston is always a good thing Valeyard-and-Six feels like it would almost be stale at this point. Put him in a Ravenous or something even wilder - like a Fourth or Tenth Doctor story. Just had a thought - bit unrelated: It could be fun to see Six and Peri through the ages - an early story around Attack of the Cybermen, a story near their end of their initial travels, and a two-part final exit story following The Rani Elite.
