Since we are all apart due to COVID and in different levels of restrictions my family have been posting me stuff via Amazon and eBay they know what I like and asked me for a list of possible audios I didn’t have so I have put them all under the tree in their brown wrappers and I will wrap them myself. I have even sent out box sets to my sisters real fanatic Visual Doctor Who’s but they loved the ones I had previously bought them ,they don’t have same leisure time I get having family but they get the odd sneak into the car for a journey with audio. My nephew is beginning also to get the audio bug so maybe Christmas gifts will be easier in the years to come.I think with covid people have come to appreciate some simpler things than they used to.The joy of audio drama for instance. I was even checking out bundles and picking the best to send...Happy Purchasing folks I've got 4 BF audios coming for Christmas, I think, which is a bumper crop for me.

Payday, so just pre-ordered the Ninth Doctor Adventures bundle. Another good discount, with £3 off per set.

Just pre-ordered Master! (Of the two imminent Master sets, this is the one I'm looking forward to the most) and Torchwood: Lease of Life (because it is one of few recent releases featuring the regular cast that doesn't look like a comedy, which isn't always to my taste, and because it features Burn Gorman). Happy Christmas to me!

Happy Christmas to me! Genuinely curious as to your comment on Torchwood. Mileage may vary, which is totally fair, but I can only see Dinner and a Show being the only out and out comedy this year. Other stories have comedy in them but they definitely aren’t comedy based if that makes sense. And really the only non-regular cast releases were the three Queen Victoria stories and Tropical Beach Sounds, all of which are excellent nonetheless.

What with a constant eye on finances, I've missed getting Coffee, Three Monkeys, and was hesitant about getting Rhys and Ianto's Excellent Barbecue and Dinner and a Show because the covers made them look more like comedies than they (probably) were. I'll get them in any future sales, I'm sure, but I prefer sombre Torchwood stories like Corpse Day, Iceberg and Dissected (for example). Smashed was the first story in the range in which the light-heartedness detracted from the story being told (in my view), and so I've been a little wary ever since!
Hope you're doing well.

Thank you, I’m feeling as if the worst has passed. I totally understand picking and choosing due to finances. I do that for many ranges as well. However when you get the chance I highly recommend Three Monkeys. A highlight of my Big Finish year, being my favourite of the Owen and Andy trilogy!

On your recommendation, I'll get Three Monkeys, probably in January.

Today I bought Bernice Summerfield: The Christmas Collection.
And I "pre-ordered" the (free) Paul Sprague short trip "Free Speech" just so I wouldn't forget to download it later.

I put in my traditional Christmas morning first bulk CD order for the next year.
I finished off my 2020 wish list with Genetics of the Daleks.
Then started 2021 with: - 4th Doc Adventures Volume 10. 1 & 2 - The Blazing Hour - The End of the Beginning - Gallifrey - Masterful Limited edition - Master! - Return of Cybermen - The Doomsday Contract (still ridiculously excited for this one)
That's me sorted till May.
