You almost had me there! But I dug out my DVD and had a listen and compared them. Nope, that's not a SIDRAT sound. I knew i'd get in trouble for not being specific, i mean't the same door sounds www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi5wiWE5JIs go to 0:09, save you digging out the War Games dvd again. Fair enough, but then he's not in a Police box so that's reasonable.

In the PDF script, it very specifically says "The War Games" next to the sound effect.

No, we don't but sometimes, when the forum is quiet, you can hear a ghostly tapping of keys, and moans that involve eye-watering contradictory continuity

Anyone worked out where this is in Sevens timeline? Is it before or after the stories "Dust Breeding" & "Master" for the Seventh Doctor?

The TARDIS console effects are the McGann-era effects (tapping keys, swooshing controls, flicking switches, I think I even heard the hand brake effect) so certainly late in his life.

As for the War Chief thing, haha no. I just chimed in for a discussion of sound effects.

Finished it yesterday evening. Overall a magnificent release and one of my favorite Big Finish releases ever. It was just crackling with good lines and fun all around. Now to listen to the BTS downloads.

I'm still waiting for the War Doctor meets the Peace Master. I guess Professor Yana is kind of the Peace Master. Now there's an interesting idea. Is there any problem with the War Doctor actually tracking down the Master to the end of the universe and discovering kindly Professor Yana, then finding himself at odds with him for all the wrong reasons? He would definitely have to wipe any memory of finding him, of course. The tagline could be "The Master at peace, the Doctor at War"

So I wonder if the pre disfigured Beevers Master will appear in any future audios. He's got to appear in the Third Doctor Adventures and heck it'd be cool to have him pop up in the 4DA's. Yes, I assumed BF were creating a gap in the Master's timeline for just this eventuality

I heard this last night, John Dorney script hits another home run & delivers a cracking paced inventive story containing some wonderful moments of dark humour, great dialogue & a superb twist.
Best story of 2016 so far.
I have to give this a full Timelord Rating of 10/10
