Besides actually getting a Quatermass audio series of course. I am privy to no special information and am not saying Big Finish are trying to acquiring the rights. This is simply a fanboy speculation question.
For me I'd love to see big, complex ideas explored in a mature, dark and very Earthbound context. Something long form that takes its time. Andre Morell is my favorite Quatermass and I'd love to get someone on audio who captures that spirit.
Thought?

A cohesive universe introducing Rolley etc earlier than their respective stories.
I can see it going "X: The Unknown" (Quatermass et al working on the Q1 atomic motor at a research facility, weird stuff happens), "Quatermass 2" (still working on the prototype as well as other projects to keep himself from getting bored, Quatermass encounters a misuse of his plans for a lunar colony ... A misuse BY ALIENS!), "Quatermass Experiment" (rocket launched, trouble, mutation, someone blows up a church) and then "Pit" (semi-disgraced after QE, the BRG is taken from Quatermass and he sulks off to help Rolley, cue Martians).

Ok, I have a confession. While I've heard of Quatermass, I know absolutely nothing about it beside being one of the first sci fi shows on British television. And I only learned that within the last year or so. So I have no opinion on this at all.

Try starting here - www.amazon.co.uk/Quatermass-Memoirs-Classic-Radio-Sci-Fi/dp/1846071054 (although the listing is in error; Andrew Keir reprises Quatermass) I think it could certainly be an idea for Big Finish to pitch "Quatermass and the Third Reich", the prequel that the BBC turned down shortly before Nigel Kneale's death

I've seen the name often enough around the BF forums that I finally decided to look it up when this thread was posted. Wikipedia has an article with a section on DW nods and references to Quatermass that I thought was interesting. (Also the section on parodies and homages was fun - rofl at "Professor Quite-a-Mess"). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Quatermass

There is a good region 2 set of the surviving episodes of the various BBC series. If you like smart science fiction it is worth hunting down. I'd love to have a regular audio series based on the character.

I might check this out at some point.
