The best day in my honest opinion If anyone hasn't listened to Dorian yet you don't know what you are missing. Now off to buy the last physical CD I need Pictures of Dorian Gray!

These are already so underpriced that they practically give them away on sale. One hardly has an excuse for not owning them all. :-)
Also, every one of them is excellent - all the more reason.

My dilemma is if I should get one of the Dark Shadows titles on CD, and which one to get if I do.

I echo all the comments; I was late to Dorian Gray and they are fantastic and tremendous value

...and here is where I go broke!
I promised myself if the CD set of the first two series goes on sale I'd jump for it. So without a thought I tossed it in the basket, along with The Picture of Dorian Gray (for the price, I got that on CD too) and The Skin Walkers (one of the few DS titles I don't have!). So now I'm almost broke 'till next Friday... totally worth it!
As has been said already, if anyone's curious about this range, it's well worth a blind buy. An excellent but underappreciated range that is well worth the time!

It has a lot of extras not included with the digital download. Well I would have nabbed it either way, as I'm trying to build up a collection of physical CDs of my favorite BF releases. But the music CD alone is a wonderful addition, and I did notice it comes with a Bernice Summerfield disc (which is from another boxed set, but I can see from the listing why they added it). Heck, for a 10 CD set this is a bargain!

"Picture ..." also comes with the first story of series 1 free ("This World our Hell"). When I was first curious, I bought picture, listened to the download, listened to "This World ..." and then bought the whole lot (released at the time).
Cheers

My dilemma is if I should get one of the Dark Shadows titles on CD, and which one to get if I do. Tough choice! The Darkest Shadow is a 2 CD story written by Nev Fountain, and The Skin Walkers is an appropriately disturbing tale offering a rare glimpse into a little known chapter of Quentin's life. Both wonderful stories. I'd get both if at all possible, it must be much easier than deciding between the two. :-)

I've had them as downloads for a while, but these are two top-notch stories and I like to get a paper copy of Vortex each month.

I've given the first 2 download seasons and portrait a blind buy. Oh dear off the basis of the first 3 episodes I might have just bought 3/4 Xmas past and preordered 5. My credit card is not a happy bunny
