I am truly sorry to hear of the troubles people are having.
The rise if far right...
It's not good.

Exactly
I'm with the remain group BUT would never tolerate behaviour like that.
Remember that the nazis full name was national socialist... And you can't get much further from socal is than that.
EVERY one feels betraid

If your gf was assaulted then she should report it. Regardless of the referendum people shouldn't get away with assault. Still, 100% her choice

Absolutely! This is what I've been talking about, awful, awful news. jasonward, I hope they are ok now? Hate-crime is hate-crime no matter who it's against and has to be stopped. Cameron has said as much today, but until someone can bring the country together again, I feel that no-one is listening. Cheers Tony

My girlfriend who is a Leave supporter got assaulted by a mother with 4 children when she left work today because she (my gf) was wearing a Leave badge. That's awful. It's sad that nobody can support their political beliefs anywhere without the risk of putting themselves in danger because of it.

So sorry to hear what's happened to Jasons girlfriend & sister, I'm appalled to read what has happened to them just because of a different point of view.
I hope they feel better soon but it will take some time because no doubt this incident has shaken both of them badly.
The country's gone bloody mad over this debate, we need to stop hating & start uniting as a country & move forward together.
I'm sending you my love & prayers to you all, stay strong mate.

My girlfriend who is a Leave supporter got assaulted by a mother with 4 children when she left work today because she (my gf) was wearing a Leave badge. She came home and told me the sad and alarming story, to then receive a phone call from her sister angry and equally alarmed that her 6 year old had been spat on by the parents of other children at school because her mother supported Leave. I am in tears as I write. What the fu ck happened to my country? I am really sorry Jason. That's awful. However you voted or how you feel attacking other people I just have no words. Do people have no common decency?

Really sorry to hear about this, Jason. It might be worth informing the school of the parents' behaviour. It's very likely they would arrange police presence on the premises at kick out time.

I actually saw someone block Nicola Bryant over this. Though none of the fault was on her end. They were being incredibly rude to her. It was like something out of the Twilight Zone.

My ex girlfriend was killed due to a horrific car accident yesterday, the guy who caused the accident was high as a kite on drugs.
Kind of puts things into perspective really don't it.
We all went a little crazy about this result me included, but now's the time to build bridges & unite as a country.

On a positive note, it was nice to see England fans applauding Iceland after yesterday's game. It was nice to see that European relations aren't all hostile.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if some of the hooligans start targeting Iceland stores and kick the cr*p out of boxes of breaded chicken.

Jason, I hope your gf is alright, and I agree with the rest that she should report it.
There is never a good reason to assault someone just because they have a different political view than you do - disagree, debate, but do not resort to physical or verbal abuse.
