Both are rather good (with Second Chances being an absolute highlight of Zoe's story), but the Oliver arc has this nice sense of uniqueness to it.

mark687 Wow, it's already locked. I would have voted for the Zoe's memory arc myself. I only really enjoyed The Cold Equations with Oliver.

Would have added my vote to the Oliver arc. I haven't listened to all of the releases for both arcs, but the First Wave and The Cold Equations are two of my favorite Companion Chronicles.

Yeah, why lock it so fast?
Now, I do find the comparison a little apples and oranges. Oliver's was an ongoing progressing story. Zoe's is more a narrative device to dig into her memories to tell flashback stories. Not unlike the "Old Leela" stories.

I adored the Zoe stories and the narrative framing device gradually becoming the actual story.
While very evocative grom a sound design perspective I didn't think the Oliver trilogy was that special.

I liked Oliver's a little more, but Sara Kingdom has my favourite arc overall.

What about the Ian/Barbara relationship arc, or the Sara Kingdom/House arc or the False Doctor arc with Steven or the Leela's Last Story arc?
