Anyone know why i didnt get the discount after passing the £50 mark? Im not sure if it was due to 3 out of the 4 of my items being pre orders.

The note about the discount does state it does not apply to orders containing subscriptions, bundles or pre-orders.
I only pre-order if there's a financial saving. Otherwise I've typically been placing my order for new box sets near the end of each month once all have been released but are still at their release price. I incur postage charges but the 10% discount makes the order overall slightly cheaper than a pre-order.

And if you're a download buyer then it makes even less sense to pre-order as you're choosing between £20 in advance or £18 on release. Only downside is that you can't always get on day of release as you have to wait until you've got £50 worth of purchases.

For instance I've not bought the new companion chronicals box set as I'm waiting for new monsters and avengers vol 6 to be released as I could get it for 45 instead of being 50 if I bought it now. I'm still going to get it at pre order price if I get it before the end of the month before the cc goes up in price

I'm waiting for 2nd Doctor and UNIT until I can add the Classic Doctors box and get the discount.

If you buy the story after the release, when the pre-order price is still in effect, would you get the discount? Maybe that's the way to go for those who qualify for the discount. (Doesn't include me, since I'm not in the UK.)

(Doesn't include me, since I'm not in the UK.) Yes, as long as it's released it qualifies for the 10% discount (on spending £50 or more). As @brians said, the more savvy download customers can wait until the release day and get the pre-order price discount, qualify for the 10% and still listen to it on the same day . Of course, that is very rarely me ... although I have managed it on occasion Cheers Tony
