Hello again. For those who read my post today, July 11th, what has made/not made my day.
Who can guess correctly where my daughter who lives in West Cornwall managed to get to before being picked up by the police safe and well?
There's no prize it's just a bit of stress relief for me while my wife and I deal with the aftermath. You know visits from police and social services and loits of appointments as school and the doctor's.
I'll reveal the answer a week from today. Take care.

Oh Jeez. I hope you are all ok and your daughter? Did she just decide to go for a wander or was it planned (i.e. meeting someone)? My (then) 6 year old decided to look for the "wand shop" last year and managed to reach the house keys (that we thought were out of his reach) and let himself out early one morning. He was found 1/2 mile away in our (small) town, only wearing his P.Js and bare feet. I think that took a good 10 years off my life. Fortunately alls well that ends well on that score. Hopefully it will be the same for you.
As to where, no idea ... Devon!
Cheers
Tony

Hello again folks, Thank you so much for your kind words and funny answers I am afraid no one guessed correctly.
So the winner who got closest.....Dramatic Overlong Pause..... -----
Oy TIN DOG, YOU ARE THE WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[]]]]]]]]]]]]]]@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
the answer K9 gave insuferable knowledge machine that he is was, Moat Studios Cardiff. Good answer. Closest geographically and closest to a possible motive; as she is a supercalafrageliciosexpeliadocious fan of Matt Smith, the illustrious Doctor 11!!
So well done there TIN DOG you used your doggy instincts well! The actual answer is a little further north up the M5 - Birmingham. She was heading for Stoke on Trent but didn't get that far as she was caught by the police. What amazed us was that she only had around £5-£10 on her. She must have a future career in MI5. My names Pond, Grace Pond; Licensed to capture you evil people and bring you to rights.
Sorry getting carried away there... Best wishes... and thanks for aall the fish -- I mean kind words...
