BF Response to the accusation of AI Descriptions being used. The synopses were commissioned from/outsourced to a human copywriter (an individual). We are reviewing all the text and will amend or replace them where we feel it is necessary. Regards mark687 Another thing they didn’t check before they hit the ‘go’ button, and are now having to scramble to fix after the event. Seriously, did anyone have any oversight of ANY of this at all? Yeah, you’d think someone at BF would have had to sign off on it before letting it go live. Bizarre that they thought it was fine.

Slight update on Delivery Address situation
Some customers have reported issues in making a purchase when inputting a new address at checkout. We are looking into this currently, but a temporary solution is to ensure that you have an address input in your Big Finish Account before proceeding to checkout. This will then enable you to complete your transaction.
If that doesn't work they still say contact Sales

The old website was barely 6 years old if BF are expecting this new website to last long then I doubt that By the way I still am missing all the 2025 preorders when would be a decent time to email them about it ?

I don't know about anyone else but all the fixes must be happening to the app because I see no improvement to the web page, particularly the downloads section, at all. That's because there haven't been any.

App Related Update BF put on FB
The dev team deployed some updates and improvements to the Big Finish app overnight. • Fixed playlists to include more than one track. • Fixed the paste issue on the password field on login. • Added pagination to the library for easier navigation. • Added a total item count for the current filter ( Purchased Vs Downloaded) We are capturing all your requests new features, and a return of those you loved in the old app, such as Accessibility, CarPlay etc. Our dedicated app team is scheduled to make regular update and improvements over the next coming weeks.

I wish they would fix the website and stop focusing so much on the app.
I still have no idea how many of my purchases didn't transfer over to the new site, and my order history still stops at 2019 (with the exception of the purchases I made from the new website).
I'm really finding the new website unusable.
Oh, and no way they're not going to have to update the website again in the next 25 years - if they last that long. Tech doesn't work that way.

So when I was putting that list in other thread I had to Google the 4DAs to remind myself name of Sinestran Kill. Sure enough a website listing came up but it directed me straight to the Dr Who 1963-89 page with every single classic release rather than range I was looking for.
God help anyone looking to get into Big Finish as I can’t imagine a quicker way to overwhelm someone.

Yes, it's worse than the prior incarnation of the website to the one we just changed over from, which had search terms which were mysterious to newbies not in the know.

The site does seem uniquely designed to both frustrate long-term customers and baffle new customers.
I frequently love Big Finish's output so sorely hope I'm wrong on this, but this ongoing mess really does feel like it could be the beginning of the end for them.
If they had kept the old site and simply added the new multi-buy discount structure, I would have easily spent a few hundred pounds today to get 10+ items for maximum discount. As it stands, I cannot bring myself to make any purchases until everything I've bought previously is restored.

Currently getting more and more items back on the app everyday. I don't think indicating the 5th of August as the date to reach out to them was very wise given it's taking longer to get our downloads back.
I now have more items on the app than on the website.

I've given up. I'll just wait for resolutions rather than checking 100 times a day. And they best hurry up, I want to hear Deathworld!
That message they sent about "the new site setting us up for the next 25 years....umm. When Colin and Sylv are 105, Tom is 115, Davison 99, McGann 90, Eccleston 85, Tennant 78....good luck with that.
